We went there to eat early in the afternoon. It was not that busy. The waitress Pearl was horrible. She was eating when we walked in. Took her time when taking our order. When she finally did she went to the restroom for about 5 minutes. She proceeded to pick up our food. I was grossed out. My husband convinced me to eat. It was good. We received the bill we paid and left a tip even though she didn't deserve it. When she gave us the change back she literally kept the change without asking. About 85 cents. We had to ask for it. She pulled it out her pocket. This seemed like a norm for her! So watch out if you go there to eat. Customer service sucked!

My coworkers wanted to treat me to some good soul food and we stopped here. The first thing I noticed was the restrooms near the entrance...the staff provided great customer service but while waiting for our food to arrive a roach ran across the table. I didnt make a scene or anything but i did get rid of it and mentioned it to our waitress.  She was prompt and professional and apologized. I was less inclined to eat my food and hope this is an issue no more.

If you are in a hurry or really hungry, this is not the place for you. Call your order in and give them 45 minutes. I had catfish, collard greens, mac n cheese and red beans n rice. Being from Oakland, CA. I expected a certain down home taste for soul food. It's not nasty but this ain't it. 

The food was not seasoned, I could taste sugar in the greens, the mac n cheese had some powdered cheese in it and the fish was just fried with very little seasoning. My girl had the fried chicken and she said it wasn't seasoned either.  And that corn pancake, NO! Where is the hotwater cornbread or a muffin?  I'm still trying to find a can't miss soul food spot in Las Vegas. Can you help me out?

Once again.....i was very satisfied with everything that they had on the menu. Every thing I order was good. I sat there after eating and didn't want to get up from the table. I even ordered food to take home with me. May god bless there company , because these are some wonderful and helpful people. They really treat you like family.

I love to see young black waitresses smiling and giving great customer service. The place is CLEAN relaxed and has nice sol music. GROWN FOLKS Music. There are two locations. The ownere cares. And it shows. I'm proud of him. I meet ppl here for business often. Great vibe.
