I have been coming here for awhile. Previous experiences have always been HORRIBLE! The staff (especially) front desk was rude! I was actually about to switch my children's dentistry office until I came to this last visit. Not really sure when the switch happened but the staff is different with exception of a few.  Dr. Calzado (check spelling) and Dr. Kim are a pleasure along with the assistants. Front desk help was also sweet. They all helped my children with ease and the appointments flowed smoothly. The wait time is still a little rough...but they've done a great job so far.

This place is horrible! First and foremost, my daughter had a tooth extraction here and had an allergic reaction to the injection or gas used. She also wasn't completely numb when they pulled her tooth as she kept screaming out as they removed it. I told the dentist's assistant that my daughter was developing a nasty rash on her face and neck and she seemed pretty unconcerned about it. She said she'd get the dentist, but simply sat in her chair calling out when someone passed and was like, "Oh I thought you were the dentist." Really?? It seemed like she was too lazy to get up from her chair to get help!  It was several minutes before the dentist came by and she got her to come in and told her the problem. I would have sought out the doctor myself, but I didn't want to leave my daughter's side. She was in bad shape. 

Aside from that, most of the staff are completely rude and clueless. I came in prior to this appointment with my daughter to also have my teeth cleaned, waited over an hour, and then was told because I'm pregnant I couldn't be seen until I go to my OBGYN and get an approval. No one said that to me prior!  Even after I specified I was pregnant on the tons of paperwork they give you beforehand, I was still made to wait to be told no. One of the staff asked the woman that checked me in if she knew I was pregnant and she said she didn't. Why isn't this asked before making you wait over an hour? What's the point in the paperwork if they don't even read it?? Speaking of the paperwork they make you fill out, it asks the same questions over and over and seems entirely needless.

 If you value your child's health and well-being, I'd steer clear of this horrid place. I know I won't be returning.

Kool Smiles is awsome. The staff is friendly & I always  have an awsome time here. My daughter loves it here as well.

This location has an issue with scheduling and appointments. It seems every time we have an appointment, it is never at the time scheduled. I recently visited this office, and my appointment was at 4:00PM. We did not get taken in the back until 4:45. Still at that point, the employee said I had 3 patients ahead of me. I then went to the front desk and asked how many patients had their appointments at 4:00 o'clock, she states 6 others. I asked how many people were working and she said 2. My question was, how do you schedule 6 people at the same time with only 2 workers? Very frustrating.
