Went on a Sunday morning while the light was on and Donut House was closed. Super pumped when we saw the light was on, and super disappointed when the employee who took our order couldn’t let us finish our order before asking probably 5 times if we were finished and ultimately messed up our order. We ordered 2 dozen glazed donut holes after being told they didn’t sell assorted — despite the signs for assorted being posted all around the drive thru — a dozen assorted donuts and 3 drinks. It was not a complicated order. They eventually stopped speaking to us and we pulled up. We sat parked at the window for close to 10 minutes before paying and receiving our order. Expecting hot, fresh donuts, all of the donuts were cold and stale, and half of our order was wrong. The milkshake lid had holes CUT into them… like, what? I’m genuinely flabbergasted by the whole experience and likely won't return. Donut House in Indian Trail is so much more worth it.
Nice place to grab some fresh donuts. You can see the whole donut making process for that makes then drool Parking available outside.
Catching up on reviews. I frequent this location the most. This review is for my Sunday, 07-03-22 visit. I'm a rewards member and stopped by to try the new doughnut flavored ice cream. I believe I had an email that allowed me to try an ice cream product for free. I splurged & tried the original milkshake. It was ok. On another visit, I wanted to take advantage of the ice cream cups for $1. The email advertised flavors of vanilla, chocolate, & strawberry. I was under the impression that there would be actual chocolate and strawberry ice cream. All of the ice cream was vanilla; it was the toppings that gave the different flavors. Disappointed that that wasn't explained in the advertisement. To make matters worse, they didn't have all of the flavors they'd advertised. Usually, the staff members are pleasant and courteous.
Who doesn't love 'hot, fresh donuts'??!!! Don't try to count calories on your visit to Krispy Kreme...just embrace the moment! The location in Matthews, NC was exceptionally clean. We sat at the table and enjoyed watching the donuts being made. Curtis provided outstanding customer service! I highly recommend this location and if you can skip the drive through and go inside, you'll enjoy watching those delicious being made!
Couple of reasons I'm giving 1 star. The Hot n Now sign was on, we went through and got a mixed dozen. Orig.glazed which were fresh and hot, but the creme filled were hard, icing set up hard and even creme in chocolate covered creame filled was dry like day old. Raspberry filled was wet on the bottom. Water. Not oil. I usually get nice service and great fresh donuts here. What happened?
The donut experience is supposed to make you extremely happy and bring you sugar delight! To maintain your happiness, and joy from a Krispy cream donut , please stay away from this place it will disappoint you every time. The disengaged employees will never turn the lights on, the unfulfilled employees never unlock the front door, and then when you drive up to the drive-through, the unhappy employees just say drive on up to the window. When the no smiles employee opens the window, you ask do you have any Friday Fritters? ,"no, we don't!". The reply is so disappointing, but of course management will do nothing for this store or brand. Go to a local donut shop.
We usually live this place, but the last visit I was picking up 3 dozen doughnuts I had ordered online. I typically pick the up through the drive-thru. No one answered at the speaker approx 7:20 am I pulled to the window and waited 10 minutes! All the while not one, but two employees came to the register and did not acknowledge me once. One actually took an order for a car behind me. I went inside and told the "manager" I had been waiting and when she asked my name she said "those have been done!" Really? That's why I was waiting at the window to pick them up. We will give this one a chance again maybe having a bad day but wow what a waste of time for something that had already "been done".
The only reason why this is not a 1 star review is because I haven’t had terrible service here every time. On Veterans Day I go through the drive thru to get the free coffee and donut for veterans. I had full intentions on purchasing more than just that but I lost my appetite due to being in line for 30-45 minutes. With no way to drive out of the drive thru. Please get back to the awesome service that I’m used to at this location.
The "HOT" sign is life The staff is friendly and helpful The minis are great. If the glazed melt in your mouth the calories don't count 1/28/23 Still HOT and AMAZING
Ordered two dozen one discounted due to rewards account and this is what I received. The quality and customer service were HORRIBLE and the "host" ripped something off the bottom of the receipt!
