Sushi all seemed fresh and was delicious but labels explaining whats in each roll were so tiny I cld'nt read most of them and some were missing labels so i had to skip a lot of rolls to avoid allergens. What I did taste was great. The sweet n sour soup was extremely salty we informed the waiter and he said "its the way they always make it" The hot food items were good also. Music is very loud at this location although they recognized it halfway through our meal and turned it down it was still quite loud and top 40 hits with lots of suggestive wording and beeped out words glad I didn't have small kids with me. :/ Also sign in window said $9.99 lunch buffet I was charged $12.99 for both our meals and the girl at the counter said they just recently changed price.

When they say sushi buffet they're sincere. The layout is a small section of common Chinese food and the rest of the walkway is trays and trays of various Sushi all beautifully appealing as they are delicious. My favorite place for when sushi is the only thing I'm craving. The staff are all courteous and friendly. My go to for sushi!

Just walked out before even sitting down, because of the stench here at the Pharr location. I actually enjoy the quality of food. However, the place smells like the sewer system is backed up. The last time I was here I hadn't noticed the smell as much. But I suppose that this location isn't going to fix the problem. So, if you don't like the smell of dirty toilets then avoid this location.

Never been here before but building was nice so was inside. Cashier was unwelcoming so not a good first Impression grabbed some food buffet style nice concept but all the sushi I ended up grabbing was room temperature and not great. Wasn't bad but any foodie can tell you room temp food is bad for business. Bean sprouts were good, but again fried wontons were room temp again not hot which can equal food poisoning if it sat too long. Very disappointing I won't be coming back

Came into this restaurant from a recommendation by a friend. I was not expecting fine cuisine, but I was also not expecting to get sick. The service is about what you'd expect from a buffet-style place, and the food is bog standard for those types of restaurants. You would think, however, that a place that serves sushi and has a limited selection would be able to keep said sushi cold and rotate their dishes more often. They did not do this, or at least they did not do this well. I ate a roll of sushi that contained avocado and salmon, and within a few minutes after consuming it I felt my stomach lurch. We hailed a waiter to speak to the manager about the food quality because we could not continue eating after this. We got no response from the manager and left the restaurant 30 dollars poorer and with half-empty stomachs to show for it. In the future, I suggest paying closer attention to customer concerns if you want to avoid poor ratings and critical reviews like this one.
