Creating and building new construction is stressful . . . . doing this long distance 3 states away is simply far more so than we imagined when we first envisioned building a second home on the coast. We had built before, added an addition and also remodeled so we had some idea of the process. The one consistent thing we absolutely saw as a necessity (along with a great builder) was a designer who could synthesize every small detail and bring to reality our vision. Enter Linda Evans Design Group. The ONLY difficult thing about writing this review is to generate enough adjectives about Linda to do justice to the magnitude of expertise she brought to our project. Fundamentally, and most powerful is that she is comprehensively trustworthy. If you don't have trust, you have chronic anxiety. Linda has this unique ability to listen, envision, concretize your verbal ideas into direct images, "see" colors and light as they interact together, create a flow from room to room you can't imagine in the preliminary design stages. Special note of Linda's expertise in developing a lighting plan. We are thrilled with her amazing detail in combining the practical aspects of type, style and light output with the intangible "feel" every fixture puts out in the flow of the rooms. A well developed plan illuminated every room to a degree we could not have imagined in our minds. But the "nuts and bolts" of the design/building process were almost as powerful as the actual designs themselves. As owners, we were aware of the need to integrate, communicate and facilitate all the subcontractors and their specialized contribution. Linda only refers to the best and without exception--every sub she recommended and used for us was outstanding and mirrored Linda's trustworthiness. Linda's past experience as a general contractor enabled her to note, question, and suggest ideas and concerns for us along the way that allowed us to be involved in some small changes that were important to get the look and function we wanted on a coastal home. She posed a flow of questions during the long process of this large project that directed our attention to possible issues to consider in the building as we look ahead to aging in this beautiful home. She repeatedly said to us, "You need to be thinking all the time" . . . SHE certainly does this for ALL of her clients and pushed us, basically, to get the best for ourselves. . . She is an advocate who is fearless in dealing with anyone involved in the process. Grateful. Not a strong enough word but truthful beyond measure. Linda Evans will be the strongest advocate for your creative dreams and allow you to operate with confidence to the very end that you simply have the best!

Linda Evans was the designer for our townhouse remodel that included the kitchen, living room, 3 bathrooms, deck, and bonus room. She won design awards for our kitchen and one of the bathrooms. Definitely a wow factor that our family and guests comment about. We would not hesitate to use their design and general contracting services for any future house remodel projects. They listened to what we wanted and kept a constant focus on the bottom line costs. Their interface and relationships with sub-contractors was impressive. We were really pleased with the entire experience. Highly recommend.

I have worked with L. Evans Design Group several times, and I am impressed with the knowledge and organization in the design phase, as well as the skills of the crafts people. Recently we re-did a shower in the master bathroom, replacing the tile and changing the drain. There was a lot of careful measuring to be done because of the angle of the glass. We chose large marble squares and a modern, channel drain. We chose to re-use our fixtures. It's beautiful! Linda and her team were on top of this project every step of the way, from the initial shopping to gather ideas, to the careful calculating of the budget, the organization of the tradespeople who do the work, and the general tidiness of the job site and surrounding areas. She is detail oriented, very quality-minded, and extremely knowledgeable. We will definitely use L. Evans Design Group, Inc. again. Thank you, Linda Evans Design Group, for a job well done!

Amazing company to work with. Very reputable and honest. Family run business. Linda and Mark make you feel comfortable and you know you are in good hands. They stay in constant contact and are easy to reach. Can't say enough good about them. I would recommend them to anyone!

Linda was a delight to work with, and when we have the cash to remodel our other bathroom, she'll be our first call. For our whole floor remodel — kitchen, powder room, living/dining room, and master bedroom and bath — she was with us every step of the way. She's utterly spoiled us — we will never be able to work with another contractor again. She's an exacting professional who demands a craftsman's level of workmanship from her subcontractors. She was on site to supervise almost daily, and is an absolute perfectionist, who wanted to make sure everything was done just right. She has a great eye, and helped us with design decisions. She was excited to go with us when we wanted to go bold and unusual, like with our turquoise stained cabinets. It took seven rounds with the cabinet maker to get the stain color right, and she was relentless about making sure it was perfect. She knows the area like the back of her hand, and knows where all the most interesting and best materials are. She took us on multiple trips to source materials, and made sure we got the best quality and the best economy. She also really knows her stuff about ADA design. I use a wheelchair some days, and she made sure the counters were accessible for me sitting and standing. She designed the master bathroom to be fully wheelchair accessible, with a curbless shower and adjustable height hand shower. She made sure there were plenty of grab bars, and that every surface could bear weight if I needed to lean. She helped us find a stairlift, too, and supervised its installation. There's no question in my mind that Linda is the absolute best in the business. She was worth every penny we spent.
