I had a gum recession problem recently. I have kept postponing the treatment because i was scared the procedure. When i decided to get braces, the orthodontist told me to have treatment for gum recession issue before he starts. I couldn't delay the treatment anymore. I made an online search about periodontists in Montgomery and I was lucky that I found Dr Yarbrough office. Since i was gonna need a surgery, I was looking for someone good for this procedure.

My first visit was informative.  Dr Yarbrough explained the possible treatment options and general issues about procedure that I needed.

At the second week of December, I had a gum grafting surgery at office. I was so nervous before the surgery whether I feel any pain or not but honestly everything went perfectly. I didn't feel anything during the surgery. However, the anesthesia surprisingly was gone just after I left office. That was interesting because I was thinking I will have at least 30 minutes to get my pain medicine from pharmacy. I dont know mine is a common case. Although my husband drove to Pharmacy as soon as we left, I had significant pain for an hour and half until my first pill started working, which was the worst part so far. But, it was fine. 

Update: A few days after my surgery, some of my stitches got loose and I had some bleeding, which made us scared :) The best thing about that we could reach Dr Yarbrough although it was Sunday. He made some recommendations to us to stop it. It didn't stop and, he came to office very early in Monday morning to fix the loose stitches which I really appreciated. It is surgery and you never know your experience, mine was satisfactory. It is good to know that your doctor cares about you and do his best.

This week I had deep cleaning the hygienist did awesome work. Thank you so much guys!

I have been very pleased with Dr. Yarbrough and his staff. Everyone there is always friendly, courteous and very professional. Wait time is minimal. My experience overall has been great!!!

Have had nothing but the best of care from Dr. Yarbrough and his staff for the nearly 20 years I have been seeing him. Never had a problem. Staff always verry pleasant.
