We were in town for a few days and read about this place being a top restaurant to try in Denver. We stopped in for lunch and sat at the bar. The service was excellent. The tacos and guacamole were very good. On Thursdays, they offer 2 for 1 pozole all day long and we were intrigued to try it but also weren’t in the mood for a big meal for lunch. Maybe next time we visit Denver?!
My new favorite restaurant in Denver Went with a friend visiting from out of town and was immediately in love. Food was awesome, cocktail was interesting and delicious and we were there on a Thursday so we got 2 for 1 pozole! I can't wait to return. Vegetarian options: There was a vegan pozole!!!
We heard about this place having a very good vegan Pozole and decided to try it. It was delicious, I would highly recommend trying it. However the service we got was not great. Awesome place with delicious food and a lengthy mezcal list. Enjoyed sitting at the bar. Place gets full but doesn't feel packed. Tacos were varied and all were delicious. Would come back!Food: 5/5
My husband and I came here on our trip. He got the steak tacos and I got the chicken tacos. They are the best hands down. We also ordered the salsa appetizer. I have not had salsa taste this fresh before. It was a great experience! We didn’t order drinks this round but plan to come back.
First time here and everything was great! We went on a Thursday for the 2 for 1 posole deal. The drinks are almost as much as the meals if not more, but FANTASTIC! The three salsas were great and the posole was as well. It wasn’t too spicy, but you can add some housemade hot sauce and that brings it up a notch. The guac was simple but flavorful. I recommend the in house made ice cream to finish, great for sharing. Cheers
Their taco is so good. Please go during happy hour and get those tacos. The pozole is also a good lesson. I suspect some people flat out won't like pozole as the hominy is large and the soup is thin. To learn, go here. Their pozole is great.Food: 5/5
Great spot. Went for lunch and had a carnitas taco along with the pozole verde with cabeza meat, so good! The house margarita was spot on as well. Pozole hit the spot on a cool afternoon and the taco was larger than expected with great flavor. Definitely recommend!
Decided to try this place mainly because of the great reviews it has. Maybe I chose a bad day but the food was not good at all. The pozole had very little flavor. The chilaquiles and huarache were ok.
The bomb. I went with Pozole Verde con pollo and a Mezcal flight that was chosen by our server, Sol. I'm new to Mezcal and was surprised at the price of it but overall loved the atmosphere at La Diabla. I also had to grab a margarita which tasted fresh and not sweet. I'll be back soon.
