Friends brought us here while we were down in Denver. Really great Mexican food. Pretty standard menu with some good options. I had a smothered burrito and loved it! The vibe is fun but the music was extremely loud and made it a little hard to have conversations. Will definitely remember this place to come back to!
Very kind staff! If you are looking for a casual Mexican spot it’s not a bad option. It’s more of a drinks and tacos spot before a night out. Unfortunately the burritos we ordered were seasonal veggies some of them were not fully cooked making it hard to enjoy.
Such a fun spot!! The staff here is amazing and so kind : Everyone is welcoming and makes you feel like family!! The Christmas lounge is cute and equipped with couches for you to eat on so comfy. If you like dinner with a view, they also have igloos upstairs for you to eat in!! Definitely try the wet burrito!!! It is AMAZING!
I really enjoyed this place. There is an ample amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, the food was really tasty. It was a tad pricey but that is usual for downtown Denver prices.
Can get pretty busy. Beautiful rooftop. Great atmosphere. The guacamole doesn’t have much flavor. Drinks are pretty pricey but are really good.
I would have given 4 stars as the tacos were very decent as well as the churros, but the lavender drinks presentation especially for the price was so mediocre as well their michelada. Also, the customer service was so bad that we almost got up and left. We were seated and it was at least 10 minutes before anyone greeted us to bring us water. I won’t be going back. There’s more businesses to try and I’d never miss out.
We had a good experience! They were completely packed and they accommodated us : there was one option for every taco kind and we had a hard time deciding which was our favorite. The birria is always fun
Food was really good. But pricey. Initially, service was good but then the server stopped checkinh on us and we had to wait a lot to order more or get things fixed. Salsa and Chips are paid and not complimentary. Vegetarian options: Being Mexican, they had some/enough vegetarian options Parking: No parking at all. Found a spot luckily behind, by the street. Free on weekends.
I was born and raised in Mexico City and as such, I have grown used to the constant disappointment in any place that claims to be remotely Mexican. So it is with great joy that I can honestly say that this place delivers. Definitely Chingones. It is authentic and delicious. And I have not had a michelada this good outside of Mexico. Best Mexican in Denver.
So many weird rules about this place. We came to get a drink at the bar. The place was packed so we couldn’t get a table or a spot at the main bar. There was a small bar next to the cooks you can sit at but not order at. So you had to go to the main bar to order a drink. But you can’t order food if you’re sitting at the little bar. They were out of the frozen margaritas, the one on the rocks was so strong I couldn’t drink it. The food we ordered we had to order to go because they wouldn’t serve us at the little bar. Very confusing and bad experience.
