Some of my bad experience in LA fitness

-The first is the receptionist NEVER SMILE with the customer. When you come in and scan your card, they just only sit and looking at you and that’s it, even when you smile at them. I work out some another Gym like Planet or Lifetime fitness and the receptionist always smile and say “ hi” when you come in. This time I choose this place because it near my house but I dont feel happy when work out here. 

- It’s not have wifi as sale man explained: “ Because of our budget...”. Planet fitness with $20 a month but they still have wifi.

- The floor in toilet - bathroom - sauna area very dirty.

This is the last month I go to this place and LA fitness also.

I was only in VA for a short while on business and needed a good gym to stay with my program. One of the sales reps got me a deal that beat any other local gyms. Gym was clean, organized, good variety of equipment.

All basic machines you will need, usually clean and organized. Only negative is the weekend hours, wish they opened up much earlier.

If you swim at any other LA Fitness in the vicinity, you'll notice the layout of the bathrooms here are different, making it easy for anyone to accidentally walk into the bathroom of the opposite sex if they're not paying attention to the obscure signage. The fact that LA Fitness does not use the same Male/Female bathroom layout at each facility in relation to the pool is completely abysmal. I personally wouldn't go here.

Where to start... We did a day pass to try the gym out and one day was enough. Upon checking with the front desk, we were told to sit and wait to be "activated". The guy at the front desk then continued to talk to other patrons and completely forgot about us. Fast forward 20min, we get noticed sitting awkwardly in the front and are "activated" by the GM. After getting downstairs, we were greeted by a mixture of new equipment and very worn equipment. The atmosphere of the gym was just off. It honestly reminded me of how people stereotype Planet Fitness. A bunch of purple just sitting on machines, texting and not working out. Won't be going back to this LA.
