A broken machine can cost a six or seven figure lawsuit if it injures someone. An out-of-service machine is an entirely different issue. Thus, I’ve seen Safe machines that may or not be in service - but not broken like many claim. You get Equipment that has a lifetime guarantee, which is why it’s “old” and it’s what a gym is for. Look, It’s not baldwin park, which is a brand new gym, but it has durable equipment is safe to use. The cardio machines are another story. They need new sensors - thats it. Many issues challenge a small quiet gym that the public doesn’t see in regards to equipment orders. The janitors spend all day cleaning the equipment and wiping it down. The training staff does push you out of the training area but they ask if you need help first. It’s an exclusive area people pay $$$’s for cheaper therapy, or knowledge and guidance. So obviously they want the training area pristine. Plus, the privilege is not included in the contract. Just like Pilates in Irvine. You can’t just walk in and use the reformer without paying for it. And reformers require instructors. Rules are rules. Besides, most people turn the area they train in into a mess. Most Training clients are women, and in training the #1 demographic is women. Learn the business. Men usually don’t want training. I highly recommend you speak to Lead Trainer Joe if you have questions. Then you can make an informed decision.

Staff not friendly. The male staff walk around all upset looking, trying to look tuff I guess. They all swoop in on the females, don't let your GF stray. They need customer service here and a lot of it.

Of all the LA Fitness I go to this is the worst one. The machines are rusty and It smells bad. To top it off your not allowed to use the training area even when the gym is empty! My partner and I got kicked out of it. Funny how the pettiest gym I the worst. No wonder it's always slow here.

The manager has very poor service. He just wants you to pay more money. The worst gym I have ever been. Don't choose it.

Nasty dirty gym, nothing new with this franchise, always cutting corners on maintenance!
