With blue cross and blue shield health insurance this gym is at a reasonable price and even without it, it's fair for those who really are active. Classes are all around, different events from basketball to volleyball get set up. The janitors are always on duty cleaning something! There are rarely times machines are down. The locker room is a pretty big. The sauna is new and nice when people don't pure water on it and fry the coils. A swimming pool, sauna, dance room with punching bags to practice. A cycle room to go in for your own peace of mind. The environment is positive all around and there is diversity! I love this gym!

Hell no, 'second cleanest location' but I'll have to take their word for it. 

This gym's near by my home I see it every time I get groceries so I finally decide to walk inside and see what they offer.  I got 40-50 lb I need to work off.  I greet the front desk nice gal, request a sales rep or manager to look into getting a membership.

The person who met me wouldn't leave the front desk unless I KNEW I was going to sign up.  I tell him strait to his face that I first want to learn more about what I'm getting into so he rambles on about all the equipment they have.  I sigh and say I'd wanna know things like cost, or to see the layout of the gym properly.  (lets face it, loads of gyms have weight training and elliptical equipment) He says he won't talk cost or show me anything because I might be a competitor.  That I can see all that online.  I strait up told him he was paranoid.  He then accused me of wanting a free membership.  At that point it was time to leave.

ANY gym's ideal customer may be the one who pays them and never walks in the door but if that's their outfacing appearance (like this was) run.  I happened to be someone who'd visit 3-4 times a week so I wasn't the client they wanted.

LA fitness is the sweet spot of gyms. 24 Hour gyms don't have the equipment you need and places like Lifetime charge too much for what is provided. If you are self guided, you can do everything you want to do at LA for around 25 dollars a month.

They have a lot of great classes at this club. I really like the cycle classes at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. And the cycle class at 9:15am a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday.
