I have been coming here for 5 years now and it has become my second home and family. Not only are there some great coaching and knowledge but also a great group of people. I have made friends and family from here and am lucky to be apart of this place! If you are searching for a place to learn martial arts and grow there is no better place than here!

Found a better gym that is half the price with better classes, so I switched, had to pay a "cancellation fee" of $265. This is a great place to go if money isn't an issue. Otherwise avoid it. They say they have a money back guarantee but there are a bunch of strings attached. My new gym is half the price, has more classes, with no contracts. Don't let them talk you into a contract if you aren't sure, they will try to. Someone else liked it to car salesmen and that is what it is. Wish I would've avoided this gym.

Okay, after being pressured into signing a document my first day there and emailing them shortly after to ask to end the membership, they completely ignored me even though I had spoken to a manager. Almost a year later I receive an astronomical bill. I'm sorry but this is very cruel. I had no idea they were still trying to charge me. Very deceptive place. Coming from a national team athlete, aren't athletics supposed to feel good?

I first visited The Academy four years ago, while on a trip from England. After moving to the area I took Muay Thai classes at the gym, up until having a baby recently. I have only positive things to say about the well kept facility and knowledgeable instructors. Over recent months I have very much missed training there!
