I was a member of planet fitness but thought that LA could offer better. They have spin classes and yoga, etc. However the classes are Jammed packed and this causes a big parking concern especially at the facility on Jog road and Lyons.  The staff is not overly friendly and machines ate frequently under repair and several are old and rusted. They need anothercwater fountain by the entrance of the gym. The paper towels are sometimes in need of replenishment. I believe their major concern is concentrating on new membership. I will not renew after my membership expires and go back to planet fitness. They have up to date equipment nicer staff and nicer members overall. Too many muscle heads and obnoxious peiple at La Fiteness in my own opinion

Decent gym, not the same as it use to be, weights are never where they should be, you always have to walk the gym to find them.

Customer service is KEY. I have been a member well over a year and decided to cancel my membership at this location as it is too far from me now. I went in to cancel well over a month ago with a friend who was also cancelling hers, when I was assured no more payments would be processed through my credit card. Being that I work locally, I was warned by co workers, clients and friends that this fitness center is nortorious for poor customer service / poor management. I was advised by these former customers to cancel my card post filing my cancellation request and so I did. Of course, I recieved an email saying my monthly payment did not go through even AFTER I was assured I would NOT be charged further. I called to speak to a manager as soon as I recieved this email and NEVER heard back from anyone. It has been almost TWO weeks and after seeing another email this morning I decided to call again and this time I was not the kindest. I do not  condone being rude or diffcult to deal with by any means however , I felt extremely offended by the lack of concern by management. DO NOT join this location or this brand. Go to an establishment that VALUES your money and time. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Ron is a great manager however everyone leaves their weights wherever they want and you can never find them. And all the men leave their weights on the machines like everyone benches 300lbs.

Customers pay $30 dollars a month for a gym that is terribly managed. The free weights are consistently scattered all over place, which makes it very difficult to work out. I've been to other LAs in South Florida that are 1000 times better than this one.
