So I went in thinking this gym was going to be great. I spoke with a man who just talked about how he didn't bonus because they bought expensive equipment. When I told him I would get a discount on a membership through my insurance he jumped around what I was saying. Totally felt like I was talking to a used car salesman. He never even looked at my card I was trying to show him. He said if I came back he couldn't promise me the same rate and that prices will go up. I get a FREE gym membership at LA fitness, and most other gyms in the area. I felt like he was just trying to get money from me and it felt sleazy. So I joined a different gym and couldn't be happier!

This LA Fitness also has relatively new equipment. It's easy to get in in the morning and do my workout. Also there's a good amount of people that show up for basketball multiple days of the week. The only thing I wish they had was another basketball court because sometimes there's 20 people waiting to play

I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because it has potential. It's decently sized and offers a large variety of activities.  However the classes are not as extensive as you would think for a gym this size. 
It's very warm in here which makes the air feel very stagnant. Now I know working out you're going to be hot but when I walk in it feels humid and ugh. There are no fans on any of the equipment and it smells. The whole gym smells like a locker room. If they had more moving air it may help. 
It doesn't feel very clean either. There aren't wipes for the machines just a few "purell" type dispensers and paper towels but they aren't conveniently located. Like there is 1 for the upstairs so you'd have to walk all the way to the dispenser back to your machine and then back to the dispenser to find the trash. Which means people aren't really using them as much as they would if there were sanitizing wipe dispensers all over the gym with trash cans nearby. 

I also don't like the they open at 8 am on Sat and Sun.  I like to get in early and get my workout out of the way most times. That's my fault for not realizing that before joining. But it's obviously not just me because there is a legit line of people waiting out there at 750 on Saturday mornings. By the time I come out the parking lot is packed so I'm sure if they opened a but earlier like 7 they'd have people in and out. 

The ONLY thing keeping me from switching is the convenient proximity to my home. 
They need to step it up a bit.

If you are an experienced exerciser this is not the club for you.  If you are a novice it is fine. Yoga also, very disappointing if you are familiar with good Yoga classes. There is one good instructor, others, hard to believe are certified. No aerobic classes, except biking. Zumba, has 10 minute routines, never gets your heart rate up for 20 minutes as required by the American Heart Association. Only stayed for the proximity.    Marilyn Scragg
