This one of my favorite to go to cupcakes located in Financial District. I have ordered cupcakes from here several times.  The prices were higher than most other known cupcakes in SF. However, I will still choose La Luna for special occasions due to the texture, the moist and the taste of the cupcake were amazingly delicious.

Tiny little cupcakes place with great cupcakes and many many options for the ones either sweet tooth! Highly recommend if you're in the area. They don't have much seating though so easier to go!Food: 5/5

These were literally the best cupcakes I have ever had. We had them delivered for our small wedding reception and no less than 10 people out of the 30 there asked where we got them because they were that amazing. People even talked about them the following day. We had: chocolate tres leches, caramel, tres leches, passionfruit, red velvet. We also had them delivered and they were very punctual and easy to work with. Thank you, La Luna!!

10-22-21: Wanted to try their cupcakes for a while now. Grabbed a six pack including the following: red velvet, tres leches, chocolate tres leches, peanut butter, caramel, and the chocolate vanilla duo.  Took me three days to get through them all but they were all magnificent!  Red velvet is my all time favorite! And they didn't disappoint me. Surprisingly, the tres leches was probably my #2 favorite. The peanut butter was really good. Probably my #3. The chocolate tres leches was #4. Would definitely come back again for more delicious cupcakes!

We had an amazing experience with La Luna for our daughter's fifth birthday party last weekend. I ordered a few days before the party this mama was a bit delinquent on party planning : but the bakery was so gracious and easy to work with. I didn't have a specific design in mind, just wanted something that would fit the rainbow theme of our party, and the person who took my order talked through ideas to figure out a simple decoration. We ordered five dozen, some with custom rainbow frosting really reasonable pricing for this customization - see pic of our lovely rainbow cupcakes and some just a mix of the bakery's standard flavors "standard" is an understatement, there were so many delicious and inventive varieties. Delivered on time and in perfect condition to our event at a park in SF. The few vegan/GF we ordered were clearly labeled. It was so easy to just pop open the boxes and delight our guests : The cupcakes were so yummy that some of the kids AND adults had seconds. Highly recommend La Luna for events or just a little treat. We can't wait to order these cupcakes again.

The cupcakes are deliciously expensive but they have very friendly staff and can expedite a line quickly. It was a tougb decision on how many stars because for $3.50 for a single cupcake and & $1.75 for a mini that seems a bit high.

This place has the best cupcakes! I had the vegan/Gluten free usually don’t opt for the healthier version of sweets red velvet cupcake which I usually don’t opt for but it was so delicious! It tasted just like a non-vegan cupcake which I was so pleasantly surprised by. I will definitely be going back for more!

Happen to just walk by the sign on sutter and decided to check it out! Tried the tres leche cupcake and it was amazinggggg! Not too sweet but soft and delicious, also tried the birthday cake pop, which was red velvet and that was also really good. Will definitely go back for more cupcakes.

omg. absolutely incredible tres leches cupcake. perfectly moist — seems like they only soaked the center so the outer parts of the cupcake aren’t over saturated. highly recommend

We're in London and wanted to send our friend who lives in SF a gift for his birthday. We emailed La Luna asking if they could help us out. We had a very quick reply saying no problem, just let us know what you want and the delivery the address and we'll do the rest. And they sure did. Delivered exactly as promised as fantastic selection of cupcakes. We now have a very happy birthday boy and happy customers the other side of the pond.
