Chef needs to learn how to cook steak. Also the manager never once came up to our table to talk to us about the problems we were having.

Pros: 
Great lunch specials on Friday. The food has great flavor.

Cons:
Need to maintain the property. High turn over rate with wait staff.
The fish on the San Lucas plate is tilapia; not red snapper.

The food is always great and they have good drink specials. Standouts are the seafood enchiladas, yucateco, and fried avocado.

Most of the time the service is good, but some of the servers are kinda bad. They'll forget about you for awhile, or you have to chase them for another drink, or they'll mix up something in your order. 

Good place to spend an afternoon on the patio drinking beer and margaritas.

Service was not the issue. Good sweet tea. Not a fan of the chips, however, the dip is pretty good. I had the beef enchiladas, corn tortillas were bitter, beef was fatty and not strained, tasted old over all. My boyfriend had the La Playa Burrito, he did not enjoy it. The chili sauce was good. The fajita meat tasted burned and was very tender. The beans tasted like they were from a can. The rice was mushy and overcooked but had a good taste. Would not go back simply because of the bad food. The service was pretty good and everyone who helped us was very friendly.
