I used to have the utmost respect 5 years ago for this police department until I have witnessed new hirers be aggressive with civilians and children. If we had more officers show respect to the kids who know no love or have a rough life fathers missing ect. They would pay respect back. About 3 months ago I personally saw a officer slam a childs head on the patrol unit and kick him, it has remained in my mind. It has made me pursue my goals of a Defense Attorney even harder for the kids and adults who deserve a chance. I wish and pray that LP goes back to 5 years ago. I respect the job they do but their actions have frightened me for our future.🙏

WOW...WHAT has happened to my police department?  I don't recall ANY statements like this while I was there.

I am 9 weeks pregnant and was assaulted. They did nothing because I hit the man back. I guess I was supposed to just sit there and take it. He's also allowed to be at the apartment next door even though he's threatened to "beat my ass again" and we have to share a hallway and he does not live there. Way to keep us safe LPPD!
