I enjoy staying here. Very clean and nice rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful! Close to downtown. Great price... I have returned multiple times.

Not happy with service nor with management response. We were promised one thing and that was never achieved. The only thing we got was attitude from the manager and lies over lies. This was a short stay since we were displaced from our home due to a fire. Dirty carpets on the hallways, room service deplorable, had to beg for shampoo and towels changed. No vacuum or dusting. Pool over chlorinated to the point it hurt. The included breakfast was about the only thing that was at least above mediocre. At least the milk was not sour and the orange juice tasted fresh.

Nice place to stay. Close to many restaurants. Plenty of parking and easy to find. The staff was very helpful and informative.

Update: First impression not the best but overall I'm moving my rating up to a 4 star. Kevin is great! He hooked me up with deodorant (Tom's brand) when I needed it and he is great with the guests! Old review: The overall assessment of the Inn is accurate. I won't be staying here again, not the quality I've grown accustomed to. Small room with one bar of soap and a small shampoo/conditioner bottle. The fridge looks busted. Totally bummed 😖😕

Recently my family and I were staying at the LA Quinta in Salt Lake City Midvale and I have to say that I really have some mixed reviews I usually like this place but when we here last time it was terrible the room average the acomadations were average the staff was terrible and unprofessional they handle things down right awful they are letting people work there that have some sort of ties to the homeless people down there. They are giving them keys to get in the hotel and there are all kinds of strange things that the staff are doing there they are not well acquitted to be running a hotel they seem like they would be better acquainted with a homeless shelter by the amount of homeless people they are letting stay there or giving rooms to without them having to pay. See they have increased the security guards but the part that they failed to mention is the amount of homeless that they have given keys to so they can come and go freely to get out of the cold and into other guests rooms they are down at the breakfast each morning just as we first got there are first morning someone had gone into are room and stole all of the money out of my moms purse needless to say that the hotel did hardly nothing if anything to try and help us out they said that they would look into it and then a couple days later we all get into an argument amongst my family and me about the money being stolen from are room and yes I do admit that it was out of line for the noise level to get as loud as it did especially when it was as late as it was but that didn't mean that the hotel staff needed to do what they did they kicked us all out of the hotel on the streets at 3 in the morning there were 4 of us my parents my sister and me and a female friend of mine so in total 5 people in a room with 2 queen size beds and two of the people weren't even planning on staying the night but you know how things go when you get caught up in a movie and you let time slip right on by anyway movie ended and that's when my parents started to get heated with each other over the money issue from a couple days ago and next thing we all know that the hotel had security kick us out into the cold streets all of us with everything we had then if that wasn't enough once we were out they gave us 20 min to have all of are luggage and personal belongings off the property or they would call the police which they did and they tried to call us a bunch of drug addicts for being awake at this time of the morning mind you my dad is going on 70 years old and has never done a drug in his hole life needless to say the only reason why we were awake was because of a movie and a family argument an argument that wouldn't have taken place in the first place if the hotel staff of the LA Quinta in Midvale Utah off 7200 south would have done a better job keeping all the transient people out of the hotel and kept a better eye on what really matters like the guest's rooms and who belongs in the hotel and who doesn't so I know that it is a long review but I thought I better tell anyone that would listen how terrible this location is and how awful the staff is I highly highly don't recommend this place two thumbs way down if I could give negative stars it would be on the negative 5 stars that's just how terrible of a time that we had and how everyone else that we talked to about the LA Quinta lately says something similar that the staff are awful and that there seems to be a lot of things going missing when they have stayed there so be careful be very careful and don't bring your kids there to stay or your money cause you don't know how much the hotel is going to help keep an eye on things if at all. By the way this all took place around November 13 to the 16 of 2017 so if you are planning on traveling here soon for the holidays then be careful and stay away from the LA Quinta in midvale Utah.
