We held a large event here, a dad and daughter dance, and were very pleased with everything! The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, they accommodated all of our needs (and then some), and it was very pleasant to work with them. The room was beautiful, and the hotel itself was very impressive (clean, well maintained, beautifully decorated) both inside and outside. We were so happy with the entire experience that we definitely be back!

Beautiful room. When they wrote "suite", they meant "SWEET!!!" The staff was very friendly. They love pets. They had a little bag of dog treats for our dog when we checked in. Great selection at breakfast too.

PLEASE READ IF CONSIDERING LA QUINTA PRESCOTT FOR A LARGE EVENT! NOT QUALIFIED OR CAPABLE OF HOSTING AN EVENT SUCH AS A WEDDING!! MOSTLY DUE TO LACK OF STAFF, PROPER STAFF TRAINING AND FACILITY MAINTENANCE!!! We first fell in love in love with the outside patio in October 2016. It was the perfect place to have our wedding ceremony and reception. As we got closer to the date we could see a dramatic decline of facility maintenance and number of staff members. Approximately 2 months prior to our wedding in June, the hotel lost all information of our wedding, record of our deposit, our reserved rooms for Guests, color selections and linens etc. We were never notified of these circumstances. We only discovered this upon contacting La Quinta to finalize all details before our wedding. We were then told that the previous management resigned and all documentation had been destroyed. Upon providing La Quinta with our records that we had signed with the hotel back in October, we were met with unreasonable and confrontational behavior from La Quinta's current hotel management. So unreasonable that at one point we were threatened by management that our whole wedding event would be cancelled. All this stemming from circumstances that were beyond our control. We as the customer were only asking for La Quinta to honor our signed contract and promises made for our days event by the previous management. We filed complaints with corporate, but we were told that being a franchise, the hotel's General Management would need to be given the opportunity to reconcile the situation, before corporate would intervene. Eventually La Quinta's General Management made efforts to rectify the situation and honored the existing contract with certain limitations. On the day of the wedding La Quinta staff was not trained or capable of performing the tasks that were their responsibilities as per our signed contract. A few examples of things we did on La Quinta's behalf were cleaning, landscape maintenance, fixings the overhead lights/light poles, locating and set up of table and chairs etc. In fact the hotel could not even find all the table and chairs needed for our event. They ended up renting chairs from a vendor at the last minute, which shortened our time to prepare for the ceremony and reception. We were also promised by management that the manager and his assistant would be there personally to tend to our event from start to finish. The manager never showed and his assistant did not show until after 12:00 pm. We were told later that the manager was no longer working at the hotel. Per the contract, the hotel was to provide 2 staff members the entire day to help with set up, serve, trash and take down of all reception tables and chairs. WHICH DID NOT HAPPEN! The serving staff was not present during the dinner as promised and we had to request service at the front desk to help remove trash and dirty dishes form our guest's tables. So our overall experience with La Quinta Prescott is very unsatisfactory. They failed to provide us with the experience promised, a properly trained staff and a properly maintained and clean venue. Had my husband, myself, family members and friends not been capable or knowledgeable enough to overcome La Quinta's shortcomings, our wedding day would have been ruined! It is a shame that a venue such as La Quinta Prescott that has so much potential is not given the proper attention by General/Corporate management.

Stayed here with my kids a month ago and had a courtyard facing room and staff and the overall experience was AMAZING! I booked 2 more rooms right away to bring my whole family back for the fall festival in Dewey which was this past weekend, I requested courtyard facing rooms with the understanding that elite members have priority but la quinta would try to keep the requested rooms. Which was the ONLY reason I booked here. Long story short Called a few days prior to arrival and was told we still had 2 courtyard facing rooms even though they were not linked we were super excited! My 9 year old was super happy to hear one of our rooms was the room we stayed in prior (125). I called at 3:20 spoke to Taylor? She said we still had our two rooms. We called again at 4:30 and I think I spoke to Taylor again we were delayed at the fall festival but to check in when we are done and WE STILL HAD OUR TWO ROOMS! We check in about 6:30 and our rooms are all of a sudden booked. I was so upset. No where near the pool my stay was nothing like before. Im upset and I called the location and I am still waiting on a call back.

We stayed here for 3 nights recently. There were branches from a tree rubbing against the exterior wall of our room. There was significant wind blowing a few of the nights we stayed at he hotel. Sounded like someone was in our room scratching our walls with their finger nails. We told the person at the front desk. And she replied, "I'm the only one here . . what can I do . ." I said, if you show me where a ladder is I will take care of it. She said, " I don't know . . ". I clearly explained it was very difficult to try and sleep with "someone in our room scratching our walls". She replied, " I'm the only one here . . what can I do." We asked to be moved to another room and were told the hotel was full. So now I have to teach/explain to employees/management of this hotel how you deal with this situation. 1) You never tell a customer "you are the only one here and what can I do". 2) You tell the customer you will call you manager and get that noise taken care of ASAP. 3) You then call the manager and the manager handles it because you never want to make a customer try to sleep with someone scratching the walls in their room with their finger nails. 4) And you don't want that customer to have to give this negative review and embarrass all involved. 5) Seriously, for anyone that done any yard work. A few clips with a simple tool would have solved the problem. Heck, with a ladder I could have easily broken off a few of these small branches rubbing against the walls and that would have taken care of it.
