We have stayed at this location before and that room was fine the last time but this weekend I actually requested a queen bed room..we got into the room and bed looked like a full bed also floors were dirty. I did bring it up to the guy at front desk, asking to make sure when housekeeping cleaned to make sure they clean the floors, instead of saying sure not a problem, he tells me they sweep and mop every day...I said OK but no they don't ..there were blonde hairs on the floor and my socks were black on the bottom after less then 15min of walking the floor. Also Morgan was very nice when speaking with her on the phone and even more polite in person.

I would have given one star except that the motel comped my room the following night in another town after I made the suggestion. I've stayed at several different Motel 6 locations because I travel with my dogs and they're easy going about it. Every other location I've been to has been clean, friendly, secure and I would have no problem returning. However, this particular location was dirty and the security lock on my door was broken. In addition, management was insistent about "fixing" the lock on my door while I waited, rather than giving me a new room as I requested. When he realized he didn't have the right parts to fix it, he agreed to switch my room. Again, the room he wanted to switch me to had a broken security lock. He seemed befuddled as to what to do when he told me "all the rooms similar to the one you reserved are booked". I told him that at this point I should get whatever room was available, clean and secure as I paid for and he could deal with higher management. I also asked him how he would compensate for the dirty room, the broken lock, and the time waiting. He put me in a much nicer room with a secure security lock and the next morning, let me know that they would pay for my room in Flagstaff that night. I would not recommend staying at Motel 6 in Prescott, however, I've never had an issue at any other Motel 6 locations. On a more pleasant note, the receptionists were super sweet, accommodating, friendly and helpful. They should work somewhere more reflective of who they are.

The people at the front desk where polite. Check in went fast and smooth. The next day when we returned to our room at 7:45pm the room was not cleaned and beds not made. I went to the front desk to inform them about the lack of maid service and told me that our room was locked. We left the room at 7am and did not return till 7:45 pm. The next morning I put on my socks and walked across the room to find out that the floor was filthy and my socks where soiled. So As I was gathering up my belongings only to find empty wine bottles and cups under the bed. The cleaning staff is not doing their jobs. The price of the room has gone up. For the same price or a couple of dollars more I can stay in a clean room. The room last week was not a good value.

I had a very expensive bottle of cologne stolen from my room by an employee. When I informed the front desk, they denied everything and had 0 accountability. The cologne magically appeared "mixed up with the towels", which is completely ludacris. I will never stay at another motel 6, nor will I recommend it to even my worst enemy. The only redeeming quality was the night clerk who checked us into our room. Upon checkout I was asked if they would like to do an investigation. I had no faith anything would be accomplished, as it was clear this behavior is acceptable, at this establishment.

The gentleman who was working the front desk was wonderful. He had GREAT customer service and answered all of my questions. He was just pleasant in general. We had been on a road trip and had stayed at several Motel 6 locations, and this was the best one. The only negative thing, was that our comforters had cigarette burns in them.
