It's hard to find a hotel with decent rates, and this is the first time we stayed at a La Quinta. I gotta say, this has been a wonderful experience. As soon as we entered our room we were met by clean, fresh air. The carpets look like they are brand new, the beds smelled fresh, and felt like they were just washed. The room was nice and cool, everything was clean, especially the bathroom. The hotel staff is super friendly! If we're ever passing through The Woodlands again, we will definitely stay here.

I was forced to stay here because of the bad weather in Houston and could not drive back home.  The hotel staff was extremely friendly and understanding about the situation.  The hotel does have snacks and an available microwave and since all restaurants were closed this came in very handy, at a price.  The room itself immediately smelled of marijuana even though they are all non smoking.  The coffee maker in the room did not work at all.  The "continental breakfast" here was pathetic at best.  Coffee in the smallest cup known to man, bagels, slices of bread, cheerios, and corn flakes.  Pretty much sums it up.

If you need a place to lay your head for a few days maybe a week then you can't beat the rate and location. But the room are not very clean or updated.  But your in driving distance or even walking distance to the The Woodlands mall and restaurants around and shops. But the hotel don't offer much in amenities if are looking for that then better pay the extra $40 to $60 dollars and get something you like. But for longer term stays it's not worth it my shower doesn't even warm not even hot. I am here for work so if you are going to stay more then a week I say pay the extra if you can.

We have been staying in La Quinta Inns for the last two months from Arizona to Texas because we have two dogs. Unfortunately this one was old and not clean ( mold in the shower, paper thin towels and room smelled). I couldn't wait to leave. The front staff was ok  but training new staff and I was ignored until I made it known I was the only one standing at the corner of the front desk (in clear site) waiting to turn in my suitcase for them to store for my trip to the FANTASTIC mall. ( the only thing that made this stay enjoyable)

So far the most pet friendly hotel I ever been here in Texas, hope that always stays that way, because we need places that we can have our 4 legged babies with us.

100 thousand points for the tolerance & love towards our 4 legged kids.

And another 100 thousand points for welcoming all those that lost their homes and everything that they ever owned in life during Hurricane Harvey......myself included.

A hotel that is kind to those in need of kindness, and understands that dogs & cats are FAMILY members 2.....is a dream come true of a hotel.

Just a suggestion if I may.....get rid of the carpet and put some tiles or even concrete can be made to look like beautiful looking tiles.
Why tiles instead of carpeting?! 
Well, it is way easier to clean if an irresponsible dog or cat parent let their fur kids to pee & poo on the carpet, is soooooo much easier to clean these type of messes with NO carpet.
