All the rooms have been recently upgraded with new everything with a homely touches. 
Great place. Bed is comfy and new. I would definitely stay here Again. A Gem

Good place to stay near my contacts between HOU and Conroe. Is the second time I stay there, and I'll stay again in the future.

I don't know who could post a positive review on this motel. We called and booked two rooms with three total beds. Simple. Charged two different rates for single rooms and then were charged an additional $38 for their error to the extra bed when we arrived. Once we actually got into the room, neither door shut properly. Horrible experience. Not a good choice​

Wishing I could do negative stars. This was absolutely the worst hotel in which I have stayed. I stopped at midnight Saturday on my way home from an impromptu trip to Galveston. By  3 am Sunday (3 hours was all I could handle) I was already back on the road. Here were my biggest issues:
* Overwhelmingly mildew smell in room 115
* Constant (every 90 seconds) banging from ceiling.
* Paper thin walls that conducted sounds of neighbors (apparently the woman staying next to me was having several guests every hour) 
* Carpet appeared to have blood stains 
* Sheets were itchy;  pretty sure I got bit by fleas through my jeans that I slept in. 
* Bed pillows were throw pillows with no covers on them
* Bathroom towels appeared used and unlaundered 
* Bathroom door would not close

It wasn't all bad however - room did have a toothbrush and toothpaste. 

Note to self / all travelers: when taking an off the grid trip - keep an emergency cell w you w yelp access!!
