Always pleasant, and do a great job on my manicures with gel polish. They last me two weeks and I am rough on my hands too! My natural nails are strong now as they give me tips on how to take care of them. If you are not in a hurry and want real salon quality nails, I think you should give them a try. If you want cheap and have no patience for quality work you are just missing out.

So I've been coming to this nail place even before the new owner Michelle was there. & I use to love it. I moved from the Frederick area to the Gaithersburg area, and would still make the trip to this nail salon. Michelle the new owner would do my nails all the time so I had her personal # to text before arriving. Once I arrived she had another client and she told me that her sister who works there would do my padicure while she finished. Turns out she did both pedicure and gel manicure (not to mention she pushed me to get a gel pedicure because it would "dry fast") so while her sister was doing my manicure Michelle finally came around and painted my toe nails ALL AT THE SAME TIME. It was so uncomfortable sitting there while I had my foot up on her knees. I had long natural nails & I asked her to fix for me because they were breaking a little on the corners. So she got gel powder and "fixed" it so they wohldnt break anymore . 3 days later all of the nails she had "fixed" were broken, gel polish was chipping! I went in to show Michelle what had happened & asked for a refund. She said "I can't do refund! but I can give you a full set!" At the time it was just her at the salon and she was busy so I told her I would come back! Today I finally made time to go in, but even before this I was texting her telling her I was busy at work and couldn't make it. All she would say is "Come in whenever" I get there and her sister is there and I go in and she tells me "I'm not gonna do your nails she (her sister) will fix them for you and only paint them! Because you took too long to come in!" she didn't even take in mind that I had already came in 3 days after I got my nails done to show her. I asked why she couldn't do a refund and she just kept on saying "we sat there and worked for it! So it's already nice enough that I'm gonna paint them for you!" But would all of this had happened if they actually sat there and did they're job RIGHT? I'll never be going back after this last time! I'm pretty sure half of the people she has working there aren't even real nail technicians.

So I am a frequent customer at this salon. Michelle was doing my nails as she usually does and I have never gotten gel nails I have always gotten accrilic nails. She was VERY pushy about getting the gel so I did.  Well I thought I did until I saw her pull out powder and a purple liquid.  That was accrilic!!! I have searched gel nails and that is not what I received. The consistency of gel is almost syrup like and never comes in powder form. I am very dissatisfied I received accrilic with a gel overlay.  DO NOT LET THEM GET YOU OUT OF MORE MONEY!!!! I AM NOT GOING BACK!

the lady that put my set of acrylics on was very rude & kept pushing me to get my eyebrows done after i declined multiple times. also when i went back to wash the nail dust off my nails she started on another ladies nails. i had to wait at least an hour before another lady painted them. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!!!
