The ER service my mother received by Dr. Dolittle was excellent. Upon admittance she was then cared for by Dr. Kolette Smith, under her care my mothers care was not in the best interest.  Sadly, the Protocol she followed in ICU was not safe for her and should not have been followed, as protocols not only have indications, but also contraindications.  I highly recommended Labette Health, but sadly not Dr. Kolette Smith, as her care put my mother at extreme risk and worsened her illness to the point of being transferred to a Wichita hospital where she was cared for and recovered well. I believe had she been assigned another hospitalist the outcome at Labette Health would have been much better.   Again, I do recommend Labette Health, but not Dr. Kolette Smith. My experience at Labette Health was above and beyond all of my expectations.  
My surgical team was amazing... as well as their nursing staff and physical therapists.  I only wish that I lived closer so that I could continue my physical therapy at their facility. 
I would recommend their Joint Replacement Program to anyone needing this procedure.

I hit a deer going 70mph and went to your facility for a check up. After speaking with the ER doc and Marci, they informed me that an air bag going off in my face could be a serious thing , as I was leaning forward and getting situated when the deer jumped out to play tag with my truck. They were right about the air bag and did find some things. The care was top notch all the way around, even the man at reception in the south end and the lady at the south end who got my paperwork squared away.  Never been to a place that was that well managed all the way around. I'm a project manager for 
Steam Way Restorations, we have a new building right across the street. I pray no one gets hurt but if they do I know they will be in the best of hands, even if they have a double blood culture!

I spent the worst day and night of my life in this hospital when I gave birth to my stillborn baby Mara. I was very comfortable there and was very well taken care of. Everyone of my nurses and doctors were very attentive and not only that, but very comforting to the emotions I was feeling that day. The stay was so nice I didn't even want to go home. I will not go to any other hospital.
