Did a year in camp Paige and a year in Afflerbaugh around 1967 & 69 my po was Mr. Hansen and then Ronald Deitrick. It was a negative experience for me and I didn't learn anything except how to get into more trouble, they had a good auto shop. I escaped from afflerbaugh, and turned myself in, they gave me a choice-Vietnam or CYA prison (great choice huh?) went into the US Army and it was a disaster, I hated authority. If not for Jesus Christ coming into my life, I know I would be dead. I needed something different in my life, not jail for kids, I needed a dad, not like the step dad I had who hated me because I was white. Jail is not for kids. My life later turned out great.

I was at Afflerbaugh from Nov. '90 til Feb. '91... PAWNEE'S wassup !? lol.. I was part of the El Camino School, Crew for Special Kids... Working with those kids was a positive experience that I still carry til this day. Them other sukka's were doing the work crew... working the "McCloud" haha... you know who you are !

I was there back in 1989 on 'Track III'. I loved that we got to go on fires & learn the things that are related. I still didn't learn my lesson when I got out. I spent the next 7 years in & out of county jail, until I finally surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. And for the past 18 years I have been able to do ministry with Jr & Sr High School Students.

I loved camp Paige. it turned. my life around back in 1987 good program. keeps. you bizzy & in shape had my crew 17-1 #1 for 8 mnths. straight
