Absolutely terrible customer service; I have never dealt with anyone more unprofessional in my life. The other day I came to this store to attempt to return shoes. I ordered the shoes from that store, and they were shipped to my house. I came in on a Thursday, and tried returning them with this woman (Kim). I had my store receipt, shipping receipt, and shoes. I told her I wanted to return the shoes, and she said that as long as I had the original card I purchased the shoes with, I would be able to return them. I told her that I paid for the shoes in cash. Very rudely she replied, "well I'm gonna tell you right now that I don't have enough cash in my register." I then asked if I would be able to return them at a regular FootLocker in the same mall, and was told I would be sent right back there. I then asked if I would be able to just but the credit on my credit card, and she said not if I paid in cash; I was told I could either get store credit, swap the shoes, or come back tomorrow. I said I would come back, and she told me to call. The next day (a Friday night), I drove the hour to come back to the store. I did not call (because I assumed that it was a busy Friday night, and they are a huge establishment and should have money). I returned and the same woman was there. I told her that I had been there yesterday trying to return shoes, and she told me to come back today. She replied, "Yeah, well I also told you call sooo." She then proceeded to roll her eyes at me and say, "I just got cash and hour ago. I guess I'll check, but I did tell you to call." I literally felt like I was being scolded! I know how stressful it can be to work retail jobs, so I am ALWAYS nice and respectful, but I couldn't believe how she was talking to me. After checking the register, she said, "I guess I'll do it, but I'm just going to be short again tonight. This is why I told you to call." She then printed out the receipt and handed me my money. She just stood there so I asked if I was all set. She replied "yep you can leave," so I said thanks and walked out. I could not believe how unprofessional and rude she was. I am a 18 year old girl (who was completely nice and understanding and felt like I was being scolded. I told my mom about the incident that night. She called the store and asked to speak to the manager; come to find out that I had been dealing with the manager. She tried telling my mother that she had not been rude, and that it was my fault because I did not call. It should not matter; Lady FootLocker is a very large establishment, that should be able to make a return. I only had so much time to return the shoes, and the deadline was vastly approaching. She then told my mom that she could've tried calling the other FootLockers to see if they could take the return. My mother said that I already asked her, and she said, "if I knew the circumstances, I would've called the other stores." She did apologize, but the situation should have NEVER happened like it did. I am astounded at the customer service at that store. I can not believe the MANAGER was so unprofessional and rude. I can assure you that I will NEVER shop at this store again, and will make sure that others are aware of the TERRIBLE service!
