Bookstores are not all the same! The "brick and mortar" distinguish the building but the customers define the surrounding more. Lake Country Booksellers has both, a wonderful location - on the corner, open to the plaza, slightly raised above the fray - and wonderful customers - hungry to read, curious, intelligent (of course). 

I know. I see nearly a hundred bookstores in a season. This one is special. How do they do it? Easy: love books, read books, send books out into the community through very special customers. 

What a concept.

This has always been a good place for me to go to get a book ever since I was a little kid. They will order for you if they don't have it and it comes in fairly soon after.

A fab little bookstore celebrating 35 years as an independent bookseller. It has a limited, but well-chosen stock of books, and service is top-notch!
