We offer fine art classes and birthday parties through out the year, including pottery, sculpting, painting, drawing and glass fusing. Affordable fine art

We encourage people of all ages and all abilities to strengthen the artist with in. We offer a safe happy environment to create art at reasonable prices. Friendships develop and are nurtured with compassion for the sake being creative together. We have regular business hours listed, but are happy to schedule private classes, parties and workshops. Mission Statement
Lake Country Fine Arts, founded in August of 2000 is a nurturing, creating
environment for people of all ages and abilities. Owner Marlene Millevolte has been teaching
pottery and clay sculpting since 1992. She finds joy in encouraging people to find their creative
passion. Many times it isn't about the finished product, but it is often about the experiences and memories formed while creating. Creating art in any medium is healing and therapeutic. Lake
Country Fine Arts is a safe, positive studio for creative energy to grow and be shared.
Millevolte said "As a child, I learned to bake. I sculpted the bread dough before
shaping the loaves and the cookie dough before making the cookies on the pan.
When I had clay in my hands for the first time, it filled my soul and it still
does to this day." Millevolte challenges all people to allow themselves the
much needed time to create, using whatever avenue
and medium at hand.

Pottery

Wheel Throwing (teen - adult)
6 week course with Marlene
$180 all supplies included
Tuesdays 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm (adults)
Tuesdays 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm (teens)
Tuesdays 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (adults)
4 weeks of throwing, gradually increasing size and complexity. Glaze all your pots the 5th-6th weeks. Extra glazing time $10.00/2hr.


Hand Building and Sculpting with Clay

6 week courses with Marlene
*Children 6 years – 18 years
$125 all supplies included
Wednesdays 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
Thursdays 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
Learn coil, slab, and pinch techniques to create beautiful works of art.
*Adult
$160 all supplies included
Thursdays 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm
Enjoy the freedom of choosing your own project such as tiles, platters and picture frames, etc. while learning coil, slab, pinch and sculpting techniques.

Glass Fusing Workshops
9:30 -10:30 a.m. Saturdays,
$25 per workshop with Marlene
Discover basics of fused glass. Each student will make two glass pendants using colored and dichroic glass, stringers and fritz. The pendants will be available to pick up the following Monday with bales attached.

Adaptive Art

Adaptive Clay Class
Twice a month course with Marlene
Saturdays from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
$45 per month, all supplies included
Students are encouraged to express creativity, enhancing fine and gross motor skills. Create beauty through tactile & kinesthetic learning modes.


Drawing

Drawing (all ages)
4 week course with Paul Dominguez

Thursday 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Learn and practice essential drawing skills to accurately render your favorite subjects.
