Best credit union, WORST BRANCH. Tania the branch manager (whom favors Miss Piggy), is a complete idiot with a total lack of communication skills as well as common sense and intelligence. Basically, spent hours in her office while she circle talked, insulted, disparaged, and belittled me. This obese, condescending, incompetent pig then revealed her disgusting racist nature while verbally attacking me. She has no moral or ethic code, and conducted herself like the piece of NASCAR attending, trailer trash she truly is, reiterating several times that I needed to keep a handwritten check record and stop over-spending my husband’s money, even though I clearly have the mobile banking app on my iPhone X. Not sure if she was aware of what century we currently live in, the age of technology.... I practically live off of my phone, and most of my business endeavors, financial and otherwise are done with my phone. I entrusted the credit union with our funds and expect them to handle our money with care, as if it were their own. I check the app CONSTANTLY AND CONSISTENTLY, at least every hour while making purchases, because of my compulsive repetitive nature. I don’t expect any surprises. And if a surprise is to arise, I don’t expect or accept being spoken to like an incompetent idiot, who doesn’t know basic math, or a Stepford wife, who doesn’t know how to manage money. Sure, in this day and age it’s hard to trust corporations and most affiliations especially financial institutions, but her despicable nature and tone took me by complete surprise. THANK GOODNESS I HAVE SO MUCH TO LIVE FOR! Because she really tried to push the envelope, beyond the verbal rhetoric she received. I love LMCU as a community banking establishment, and I have entrusted them with my money and banked with them for a while, as I have reservations about just moving my money around beyond the few establishments I currently associate myself with. But wow, I can honestly say that after being disenfranchised, threatened, harassed and degraded by Tania, the lack of customer service she provided and blatant disrespect I received, I had to re-evaluate what would be in my best interest really thoroughly, because I nearly lost it in her office, while she spoke in condescending tones, and provoked far more than a verbal thrashing. Listen folks, there are other, more professional locations in Troy, Livonia and White Lake, if you must physically visit a branch, utilize a day when you’re completely free and clear of other obligations to travel to one of those locations. Steer clear from the Farmington branch, extend your journey to a branch where you will feel valued as a customer and not spoken to with disdain. Who seriously wants to use the remainder of their evening contemplating and reconsidering their chosen financial institute because of poor customer relations an employee has exhibited and you’ve experienced firsthand? I would rather travel a million miles or incur tons of hidden fees and surcharges at a regular bank than deal with someone who has poor customer relations, exhibits poor customer service and poor communication skills and atop all of that, threatens, disrespects and belittles me with nonsensical banter as if they’re reading from a script. Bottom line, you get what you pay for and sometimes in those hidden surcharges and fees, you’re paying for guaranteed and excellent customer service and satisfaction. UPDATE: They closed my account because of the incident with Tania, I have reported them to the BBB and I am awaiting a call back from NAACP Detroit chapter to retain legal representation so I can move forward with FDIC report. I will update periodically.

This is the best place to save your morning and earn with their 3% max checking . I look forward to earning more every month with the 3% max checking product and incentives. I have been with this bank since early 90's.. I trust this credit union. I am yet to find another credit union that will beat this. Nothing like it. I am such a happy customer with this bank. Than you LMCU!!🙏🏾

Branch phone numbers are not listed anywhere. Instead all numbers go to a central location and need to be transferred. Really? Why? I spent 8 minutes getting bounced back and forth in their phone system. All I wanted to do was speak to a branch employee. I finally did get connected and the person on the other end was very polite. Just a warning, if you want information, be prepared to wait, or simply walk in a branch.

Quoted the wrong rate & closing costs to our clients causing an unexpected $1100 charge to our clients. Do not use, even what they put in writing is wrong
