This is THE Southern jewel of the Oklahoma State parks system that has a lake. The most beautiful, clean, clear, cold, and deep lake in Oklahoma. Fish, motor boat, Ski, jet ski and kayak...Huge lake where you can be in the middle of the action OR elude the crowds by docking in one of the many out of the way necks on the water. Unexpected floating hotel and cottages on the water AND new lodge complex under construction. The park is enormous with multiple tent and/trailer campsites. (Some with full utility hookups, others primitive camping) Many campsites located near or on the water

A beautiful park. Maybe one of my favorite set hiking trails. We started the trails late so we did not get a chance to get through all of them, but we will definitely go back.

We had a great time staying at this park. The camp sites are spacious, and some are right on the lake! Watch out on cold windy mornings because some of the lakeside sites can get pretty cold.

Great clean lake. Stopped by to check it out and loved it. I visited the Sunset beach location and even decided to swim for awhile and all I had was my thong swimsuit but jumped on in. No one minded but I'm sure they laughed about it. Thongs are legal in Oklahoma by the way. Anyhow...I'm sure I'll be going back often as it was very relaxing.

Beautiful place a little crowded in summer time but well worth it. Water is a lot clearer than most in Oklahoma
