As pretty as it is.... they have it very overpriced and the sites don't explain fees very well. We turned down a 1 way road to find ourselves being charged admission to the park 2 hours before closing. We paid $30 to enter!!! Not to camp, not to swim, to drive around for about an hour. They charged car rates plus per person. Its a rip off even if it is beautiful

Beautiful place, not well kept, some public walkways are in disrepair and could be hazardous to young children or the mobile impaired. The cost.. to visit off season $4 per person Which was $30 ish after tax for our group. We were checking it out to see if we wanted to come back to camp. We asked a camper how much he had paid. We were told that the cost per person would be charged as well as a per vehicle fee. That means for a family of 7 + 1 vehicle would be about $43 per night.

Unlike any place I have visited in the Texas and Oklahoma area. I happened upon this place while in search for waterfalls to photograph. A big swimming area sits at the bottom of a waterfall at this park. Picnic areas line a beautiful river bed, and hiking trails traverse the park leading to rock caves, stone castles, and beautiful overlooks especially in the fall. The swimming area is apparently a very popular spot during the summer. Luckily we visited during the fall season when the weather was starting to get cooler and the swimming area only had a handful of people which made for better photography. Also park admission varies from winter to summer. Summer rates for adults is $12, while winter rates only $4. Childrens price as less. Its an oasis I didnt expect to find in the flat Oklahoma countryside just outside Texas. The park is located just off the expressway, and it pretty easy to find. If your looking to make a weekend trip, or planning on heading up from Dallas to Oklahoma City, stop by this place and check it out. It would be a great place to take the kids swimming in the summer.

Loved our little day trip out of Ft Worth. I wanted to see some fall foliage in a beautiful setting and was not disappointed. I can't wait to go back and book a cabin. Such a beautiful place!

Beautiful spot to visit. Swimming, fishing, cycling are great activities to share with your friends and family. There is a nice camping area and picnicking areas close to the creek.
