I came here for the delivery of my first born baby boy! I was very new to the area in the last weeks of pregnancy and they made sure to help me and make sure that I was taken care of. All the staff from the help desk, to the cafeteria staff all the way up to my nurses and doctors we're just amazing. The delivery floor and mother and baby unit were excellent. Clean, there want a time that i didn't feel taken care of and safe. I will have my second child there when the time comes. I was a fantastic experience..thank you!!

Friendly helpful staff. Great valet parking service. The hospital staff listen to concerns and try to be as helpful as possible even with difficult trying patients. They respect patient privacy and do follow-up to help patients follow doctors orders. The ICU staff are top-notch. The many many new editions make this a confusing place to get around. Grab a map at the entrance.

At 1st I thought everybody was nice. I thought they were actually listening to me especially being I'm stage IV cancer patient. I was admitted and in room 363. My room was caddy from the nurses station and heard, not once but twice, MY nurse stating to other co-workers that she was running a fever! What the heck was she doing there?!? Yes, I have an allergy to bandaids... I know what that feels like and how that looks. Then next morning I woke up with blisters, severe burning sensation and PAIN! So I go to the nurses station because my Aunt had shingles a long time ago. So as I googled it at the station I asked my nurse it was possible could I have Shingles. MY nurse with the fever chuckled at me and said, "You didn't just Google that, did you"? I replied yes as the nurses assistant said, "Don't you think your NURSE would know if you had Shingles"? I knew then I was in trouble. Especially being I had yet to see ANY doctor since I first arrived in the ER. NEEDLESS to say, I HAVE SHINGLES!!! My Oncologist from N.Y. recommended this hospital and it's doctors.... I've been fighting this cancer since I was 23 and now I'm 54. So now what? Do I trust my life with that hospital? Or do I listen to my gut and run? I will NEVER recommend this hospital to anybody, not even my worst enemy! The ER is great but if you need to be admitted...... Think long and hard about it! Please!

I came in to their ED via ambulance transfer from a smaller area hospital. I was very satisfied with my care from the beginning. ED staff had it together and were very caring. SICU nursing staff was awesome. They made me feel very comfortable and kept me informed. PAC U staff was great but a few of them could back off the cologne. It’s just not pleasant when going into or coming out of surgery. When I was transferred to the 7th floor I received the same top notch care. I have worked in the Medical field for 30 plus years. I was very please with such a professional, caring experience. Side note. The food was the worst I have ever tasted. They could use some serious review of their patient food services.

The Staff dragged their feet when i needed to be seen when the clinic was completely empty. so called nurses would rather talk to their co workers rather than trying to get patients out the door as quick as possible. Lakeland regional health still has the same problems as LRMC but on a smaller scale. At least the waiting room chairs are comfortable and for good reason.
