We were intentional about visiting this donut shop today! We actually walked through the city for their donuts - a 35-minute trek. All for sub-par service. From the moment we walked in, we didn't feel at all welcome, or that those serving us we were thankful we came. I asked the gentleman who helped us about the rewards card sitting on the counter - he didn't offer any information or even explain how the reward points worked. It was clear he didn't want us to return. Secondarily, I asked the young lady for a bag for our leftover donuts. She put the bag on the counter and walked away - oh wow. Clearly we were not welcomed.  That's super unfortunate because the donuts were delicious. And, that doesn't matter because we will not return. I wasted my morning, and over 8000 steps. I could have just gone to Voodoo - where the service is always amazing!  Reminder. if the owner or manager reads this review:  your customers are your greatest asset. They help to pay your bills! Do your best to treat them well.  Disappointed.

Like the donuts, slightly pricy. The big issue today at around 11:45AM was how my order was stuffed into one bag. When opened this is what they looked like. Inside the bag is a crushed Bismarck. Terrible! Lost 2 stars.  Update 1/25/2022 - We've been back several times since this review and have not had a problem. Still great donuts, raised stars to 4. One star lost due to price.

Friendly service and prices are worth it for their items! The coffee and donuts were delicious. It's a good stop, especially if you work overnight and can't find anything open at 3/4 in the morning!

I was called a liar, and told that she, the worker knows what her menu says.  I ordered a dozen donuts thru grub hub.  The dozen selection stated 6 glazed and 6 cake and a hole.  I received 1 glazed and 11 cake and no hole.  We are 5 people and all 5 wanted at least one glazed.  I really don't know what has happened to customer service and courtesy.  I was willing to forget until i was so rudely called a liar.  Her tone was extremely rude rude rude.

Great donuts. I go all the way across town to get them. There was only one oops, the salesperson put a chocolate iced in the box instead of powder sugar that I got for my husband and it went in the trash. Plus, she was not careful about how she was stacking them in the box. Some got a little smushed. But otherwise, they tasted great

Amazing place with amazing donuts!! The employee seemed tired and stressed when we walked in, but she was SO lovely and kind even though we had walked on her newly mopped floors. Highly recommend!!

One employee was so extremely atrocious. I felt sorry for the other girl who tried to help me by getting me a bag to carry 3 dozen out after the employee with long nails rudely walked away. I live in the neighborhood and enjoy treating my colleagues to LaMar's. Thank you to Marissa I hope I got it right for showing kindness regardless of how horrible this visit was on Saturday. Do Better.

Our first experience at LaMar’s was fantastic! We tried four different donuts: Ray’s chocolate iced, chocolate iced cake donut with peanuts, devil’s food cake donut and sour cream old fashioned. They were all fresh and delicious, but our favorite was the original chocolate iced. Can’t wait to go back and try some of the more elaborate donuts! The coffee was pretty good too. The staff was really friendly!

Donuts are good.   But the young lady behind the counter is rude.   Which makes for a less than desirable experience.  Add that to the cost and you have lost a customer.

Hands down best doughnuts, every time, always delicious.  The morning crew at this location are great and even at 5am are friendly.
