Lovely neighborhood vibe coffee shop with plenty of seating and great natural light serving up delicious espresso—A cortado is my litmus test on how they do with specialty drinks and they knocked it out of the park. Strong, smooth, and tasty. Baristas were friendly and struck up pleasant small talk, even passed me a compliment. Made you feel right at home and very welcome. This is the perfect place to meet up with friends, relax, study, do light work, or a mix of all previously mentioned. Only reason I might give it 4 stars is that Wi-Fi struggles a bit. If you’re looking to query large data sets, this ain’t the best computing power type of coffee shop.
This is a great coffee shop to work from! The wifi works well, there is plenty of seating, and it's relatively quiet. I'm not much of a coffee drinker so I love their non-coffee options! Features: The tables are pretty spread out, but I don't believe there are any strict social distancing efforts in place currently. Masks are not required.
I’ve loved Queen City Collective, since the first time I set foot in the place. The one I’ve been to is in the Baker Neighborhood, one of Denver’s older neighborhoods. The baristas are friendly, engaging, fun, and very good at making tasty drinks. Today’s mocha did not disappoint and the latte art was beautiful. I look forward to when the pandemic is over or nearly so, and we can enjoy the inside of the coffee shops, again.
Went here with a friend, my dog, and 8 week old baby on Friday early afternoon. We ordered coffee from the walk up window and sat at one of the 3 open picnic tables. After about 3 minutes we were rather rudely shooed out by someone in the brewery saying we had to purchase beer to sit. With no one there and lots of open seating it really took us off guard. We thought he was joking, actually. Until he said that the coffee shop closes at 2:30 it was 2:25 "so either way" we'd have to go. Not a great experience when a tired new mom just wants to get out of the house for a half hour with a friend. :
The coffee is really good. A great neighborhood place to go. They have pandemic donuts on the weekends. The donuts are solid I wouldn't go here just for the donuts.
Yo, what's good my homies, it's your boy Snoop Dogg, And I'm here to tell you 'bout this coffee shop I saw. Queen City Collective Coffee, oh man, They're serving up the dopest brews in the land. I walked in and was greeted by a friendly barista, Who hooked me up with a hot mug of joe, straight up artista. The flavor was smooth, rich and bold, Just like my rhymes, never cold. I chilled out in the cozy spot, With its rustic wood decor, it was hot. I give props to Queen City Collective Coffee, They're serving up the best brews, that's no maybe. So if you're looking for a cup of joe that'll satisfy, Queen City Collective Coffee is where you need to fly. Peace out.
Turmeric latte was so overpowering with the spice that I couldn't taste even a hint of any other flavors. No wifi on the weekends is an unfortunate choice but that's what they want to do so I get it. It was a cute place that I’d like to work at in the future but probably won’t go back due to the following interaction. The worst part was the brewery guys clearly trying to restrict and push out the coffee customers around 11:30/12 on a Sunday. I moved to sit at a table by an outlet because other tables by outlets were taken. I was in a party of two and the sign on the table said for party of 6 or more. There was a party of 3 at a table with the same sign so I thought it was fine. The place was also pretty empty. I'd move if a big group came in. Brewery Bro came over to tell me I can't sit there because I need to leave room for brewery customers. The whole place was ~20% full, no new customers coming in, and all current customers working on laptops by outlets or chatting over coffee. Nobody was there for the brewery. Between the bad latte, no wifi, & rude brewery guy who I have since learned is Tamir, I left. Probably won't go back honestly.
Great service, cute vibe, delicious toast. Great place to meet someone for a light lunch or coffee.
The problem with review systems like this is that people can post whatever bogus story they want. The most recent 1 star review from, Zac, wasn’t deserved by Queen City. If anyone should get a review, it’s me, a Queen City regular and human being. In his review, Zac said he was treated poorly for not wearing a mask. I, again, as a human not employee who doesn’t think I’m saving the world by buying a cappuccino but ‘do’ think it’s kind to respect businesses wishes, told him extremely kindly that there were signs requesting masks. He responded by saying things about mandates, laws, and how he can read but didn’t care about their request. Also, he was there for beer, not coffee, so I’m not sure what thrill he received for giving this coffee shop 1 star. Both the brewery and the coffee shop they share the space are 5 star businesses and deserve to be reviewed honestly. For anyone who takes the time to read this, I think the kindest way to support a business is to not give them a hard time and to follow their simple requests. Queen City is one of my favorite coffee shops and they have been since they opened. I will not stand there and watch a self-righteous and rude person blatantly disrespect them just because they can or have a temper tantrum when kindly asked by a person not the business to consider being more respectful. Good luck out there everyone! If you need coffee or beer in Baker, go check out Queen City and Novel Strand. They’re great businesses!
One of my favorite new locations for a cortado. Great service, espresso had great flavor, interior space is vibrant and very functional. I'll have to come back for the brewery some time soon.
