Great place to enjoy Lake Lanier. Lots of activities and gorgeous views of the lake. You have to pay to enter the facilities.

I've lived in gwinnett county for 3 yrs and I can't lie, I was skeptical about this place. Most "man-made" beaches are average or underwhelming... This is totally different. My family & I Loved this place. We really felt like we were on a vacation. They have waterparks, restaurants, tents you can rent to stay shaded & the lake beach, felt like a normal beach. Which is a plus because the closest real beach is 4-5 hours away, while lake lanier is only 30 minutes away. This is definitely somewhere we'll visit again in the summer when we're in swim mode.

This year has been a horrible year for the islands.There were weekends we went and bathrooms werent working at all there is only a small space to swim in the lake that is usually packed and uncomfortable. They have kid jump houses and one had a hole in the back. My 3 kids and I have season water park passes and parking pass but prefer to pay $5 and go to old federal to swim and play. However, the past few years were better so I give a 3 in hopes that they are better prepared for next summer.
