Good place to go and have a picnic. Might have to find a good trail to get really close to the water. Not a ton of great places to swim. Peaceful.

It is a beautiful place to have a picnic or relax by the water! Loved sitting on the rocks by the water and looking out on Lake Lanier. ❤ Highly Recommend!

This is such a photogenic place, you can walk on both sides of the river. Not usually crowded at all.

It is just a beautiful place. If your into fly fishing, this is the place for you. We enjoy watching the art of fly fishing. There is a lot of room for just about game you want to play and there nice picknic areas for the family. Please check the internet for dates and times the park is open. I'm not sure if it's open through the winter months.

Nice loop trail. Mix of scenery, some along lake and river. Some back woods. Note that it closes at 5 pm during winter months. Rangers will tow vehicles in parking lots after that time.
