This Laredo Taco needs alot of help. This location never has burritos or egg rolls made, the case is always empty. No ice in the open up beer refrigerator by cashier area. There’s never no fountain flavored drinks it’s always at the bottom. I bought cigarettes I didn’t get id checked. The salsa department is always empty or not with fresh vegetables. The staff was nice. But this was a first to me because other Laredo Taco locations are always on point.
This is the worst Laredo Taco I've ever been to, and I've visited some bads ones, and some very good ones. They simply need more help. They have one person behind the counter, taking and filling orders, and this one person simply isn't able to keep up. Counted a total of three other employees in the store. One at an empty register and two others standing and watching to one doing all the taco work, Then they ran out of tortialls. Okay no biggie. But, again, only one person taking AND filling orders. So I look over at the register and see three employees helping one customer at the register. Instead of someone in the store coming over to assist making some more tortialls. One employee even claimed "I'm not trained to do it" when another CUSTOMER asked if they could chip in. On top of that, theyre only making about two or three tortillas at a time. Tough when customers are ordering 8, 10, 12 tacos each. They need some back-up here badly, or perhaps thry should consider training already-hired employees on how to chip in.
I rarely post negative reviews but this one needs to be shared. We are all about Laredo Taco Company - we have gone to this location before but usually go to Fry Road or Tomball. We went to this location Sunday AM. We noticed that the egg dishes looked dried out and kind of crusty. We ordered picadillo and carnitas tacos. The tortillas were literally hard and burnt. They were odd shaped also. They had very little filling also. And to top it off the lemonade we ordered seemed to be mixed with Pineapple. We were very let down. Hope to save you all a lot of disappointment.
I will never come back to support this 7-11 or Laredo Taco. They sent a flyer not coupon in the mail listing 5 differ t days of free taco give away for this location. I came in the store for the free fajita taco listed for this day and they had not heard of the advertisement and asked to see it. I said I’m sorry I left it at home since it was not a coupon to redeem, it was just a marketing flyer. The worker than called over the manager Alex?the guy who has a scar on the right side of his face who argued with me that since I didn’t bring him the coupon that he couldn’t give it to me. I really don’t need a free taco but thought it would be a nice start to the morning on my way to work. He then started to walk away towards the register mumbling something about a Mercedes. I followed him back to the register and asked him to clarify what he said. He tried to avoid it and repeated something else. I said no, what did you say about Mercedes? He said “I said if I came to Mercedes dealership without a coupon, I wouldn’t expect them to give me a Mercedes.” What kind of unprofessional, juvenile, and passive aggressive comment is that for a manager of a 7-11? I did confirm he’s a manager by the Laredo Taco staff as I left. He did all this in front of 3 other customers and his staff. I sent a comment to Laredo Taco on the company website 2 weeks ago and have yet to receive a call or email.
I saw the commercial and as they want to be Mas Legendary. I would never shop there.
Horrible food and service!!!
I can't believe how gross the food was when I got home. It tasted like it had sat out all day and had a plastic taste along with spoiled food flavor. Spit first bite out and threw the rest of it in the trash. I have had Laredo taco before I don't know what in the hell is going on over here. Won't be back.Food: 1/5
