Absolutely love their queso and chips. Being here many times and tried their Baja fried shrimp, Tipsy chick and Mr.Orange. They are very tasty and yummy. Would recommend Baja fried shrimp if they are seafood lovers and Mr.Orange for fish lovers. Never bored of this place. The ambience is one of the best views one can ask for!! Good place for kids and family.

I’ve always loved Torchy’s slightly overpriced tacos.  The service has always been a little hit or miss at most locations.  This was a nice surprise.  The service was fast and very friendly.  The  restaurant was nice and clean with a great view of the lake.  This is one of my favorite locations.Food: 5/5

Great location in Cypress! The staff treated us upon arrival and they were all super friendly. Our chips and salsa arrived quickly and our chicken fajitas tacos were filled to the brim. I always another breakfast taco and it was delicious. Lots of filling! The restaurant was super clean and the restrooms were so clean as well. Great visit when in the area for a doctor's appointment!

***UPDATE*** Even though the owner said they would change it, I believed them and them I gave them another try. Chips still aren’t the same. Obviously this location is using different chips than before and are refusing to tell the buyers. The taste is not the same and the owner just lied about making a difference. It’s so disappointing. Just say you changed the chips and I’ll go somewhere else. Don’t lie to me about it.  *******************************  I’m not sure what happened, but you guys have been serving stale chips for the last few weeks. The guacamole is good, but the chips no longer melt in your mouth, are warm, or crispy. They are hard and stale. I really recommend going back to the fresh approach as it is what made my family a customer! Please bring back freshness.

The breakfast taco was much smaller than in the past but the flavor made up for the peony size. The bloody Mary was delicious but I don't think it had much if any vodka. I really think he forgot to put it in but it was good all the same. I like me at Virgin Mary every now and again.Food: 4/5

I got the tipsy chick , some ingredients are missing , also they gave me the wrong queso . I order the HB queso , but there’s no meatFood: 2/5

New managing partner running this location and service seems slower now and costs are being cut. What really earns them one star though, is that now they don’t even give you a side of sauce with every taco like they always have! Instead, by default, they will put a little bit in the taco. Torchy’s is more than happy to still charge you $5+ per taco while cutting costs and taking away your sauce though.

I really like Torchy's but eating at Town Lake is sublime.  We ate outside and it was beautiful.  Food was tasty, large portions and came out quick. Good for Families and kids.  Great place to walk around and hang out. Parking was a bit dicey and  crowded so you may have to park far and walk.  Four of us ate for about $60. Included queso and guac  Kid-friendliness: Lots of families. People of all ages  Wheelchair accessibility: Good accessibility for handicapped

Is it overpriced? Yes. Could you find better quality tacos for a lower price at a food truck? Also yes. But there's something charming about the branding of Torchy's that makes it worth a visit. Maybe it's the cute little devil mascot that tempts you to come in and buy expensive Mexican food. The atmosphere lends itself to a good time, though, and it has a great view of the nearby lake.

This was my first time visiting, and I will absolutely be back. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the view. If you visit at night, make sure you sit outside when it's warm or inside close to the window. The view of the boardwalk is beautiful. The food is really good as well. This is definitely a place where you can either go with someone or alone, and walk the boardwalk afterwards. I really enjoyed myself.
