I used Lasar for my move to Germany and it couldn't have been more seamless.  Ryan organized everything in advance, and was there on move day when the guys came to pack and move me.  The four guys were all professional and took great care of my belongings.  The did a particularly good job of carefully packing and providing a detailed inventory, which is important for a transatlantic move that will take a few weeks and involve trucks, trains and a container ship!  If the customs clearance in Germany and the unpacking is as smooth as the Chicago loading, it'll be a 100% success.  I expect that to be the case as Ryan has taken great care to line things up on the other end.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for international moves.  The cost was also far less than I expected for the high level of service.

I would love to give Laser International a better review since they did most of things that they said that they would. Unfortunately because of the poor customer service we received and an unprofessional (even rude at times) account manager (Sam) I can only give them two stars. Numerous attempts to receive proper customer service from this company were rebuffed. Fortunately, the guys who came to pack our things were extremely professional, hardworking, respectful, and nice. They did a great job and ultimately "saved" the day. But trying to receive information both before our things were packed and while we were waiting to receive our things turned into an exercise in unnecessary frustration and stress because of the poor customer service we received from both our account manager and then ultimately from his boss (the owner of the company) who refused to address our concerns and questions fully.
