Initial contact not impressed.
I was on the web looking for a local/regional Surveyor to use for new residential work. Guess they never had a down-turn during the recession the past 10 years or so b/c I initially inquired via their web site 'contact us' form and two weeks passed and no one bothered to get back to us.
Then I called and spoke to ***** and he said that he did not know who is supposed to answer the online inquiries but that they are busy...Guess too busy to take on a new builder account? This guy sounded less than interested and kind of smug actually...So how is he gonna be if I hire them? The world will never know b/c I'm just not interested in poor attitude. SORRY V3 ya lost me in the first 2minutes.

This company was hired by the City of Chicago to replace the water main that was over 120 years old on my street and 3 adjoining streets. This particular project began two months ago and ever since, V3 has made living in my neighborhood a living hell. Along with construction that sometimes begins as early as 6:30a and traffic patterns that change almost daily down small (what used to be one-way) residential streets, they have turned our neighborhood into an impassable dirt pile. 

Every indication that the project will soon be over is dashed when they throw up new parking restriction signs for an additional month. At one point they were working and block traffic on four streets simultaneously, while failing to complete even one portion of the job. 

They will come to your neighborhood, block you street with heavy machinery, cut massive holes in the road, eliminate entire blocks of parking and NEVER leave.
