I was a client of Woodridge Mini Storage for four years - renting a small climate controlled unit. Immediately after moving my items into my unit, I moved across the country. I only returned to Greenville to empty my unit, now four years later. After flying across country and renting a moving truck, I quickly determined upon arrival that Woodridge had provided me a KEY THAT DID NOT WORK - so I had NO ACCESS to the building in which my unit was housed. 

After two plus hours in the blazing NC summer heat and several attempts to contact management (email and via phone/voicemail), we were left with no option but to call a locksmith to grant us access to the unit I had dutifully paid rent on for four years. I paid $80 out of pocket (not to mention the unnecessary stress and inconvenience) for Woodridge's mistake. 

Woodridge did not responded to my urgent emails or calls until a week after the incident, when I followed-up again with the invoice from the locksmith, requesting a reimbursement for the out of pocket expense. Their response was dismissive and showed a clear lack of care for their customers. They even tried to insinuate that I was fault for their clear mistake (To emphasize how clearly they were in the wrong -  the locksmith was hesitant to take my money without my urging, citing that it was not my mistake). 

I urge you to reconsider before doing business here.

Also, a side note - we also tried our key on one other climate controlled building located next door (it did not work), but found one door that was unlocked in the process - leaving the units housed within easily accessible from the outside. Buyer beware.

Never again, deserves no star! After being with this company for seven years due to a miscommunication everything was lost and they refused to help get any information to recover lost items. Irreplaceable items, no loyalty at all. Worth paying more somewhere else to protect yourself.
