Lauer's Supermarket has been in business for many years. It was originally Lauer's Super Thrift and was in an older, blue building facing Mountain Road. The new building faces Edwin Raynor Blvd, but it is still a pillar of the Pasadena, MD community. The Lauer sisters---who took over from their father---still ensure they are providing great groceries & products at reasonable prices. They have recently added Chef Ron who makes fresh, oven ready meals which are available in the deli dept. They are less expensive than what one would order in a good, moderately priced restaurant. The meals are great quality and packed with flavor as one would expect in the best, most expensive restaurants. The Lauer's bakery bakes everything in store. It has been elected in the Pasadena Voice newspaper as the best bakery in Pasadena for several years running. If you combine your meal from Chef Ron with a dessert selection from the bakery you will have a meal to remember.

Great bakery! Croissants and turnovers and coffee for carry out or eat in. Super nice bakery lady helped me out. I will stop in every time I'm down to visit my bro who lives around the corner!

Lots of expired food check dates had a little troubke returning lady tired to say the item was a differnet one way cheaper on recipet .... gave me not an easy time.... im like you somd me two expires items. Not much items for vegan or veggie. Other then actual fryit and veggie frozon section not good no amys a stable for vegans no vegan ice cream non dairy even ven and jerrys makes non dairy. They could add more for people with other needs. Once in blue moon there will be like 4 non dairy yogerts go fast and dont come back. Produce isn't always very fresh go there cause it close and something quick. Good cat food selection though

Quaint friendly supermarket. Long lines the two times I was there but friendly patrons and staff so it wasn't a bad experience. A bit outdated compared to more modern grocery stores but fitting for this vacation experience. I would be back again next time I'm in town, they had everything I needed including charcoal.
