I recently discovered Tammy and her Tuesday night support group through Meet Up, and regret not having connected with her much earlier in our divorce process! No matter how you look at it, going through a divorce is expensive - even if mediation is your ticket through. I've been to see my $450/an hour attorney several times in the process, my husband has seen his the same number of times at the same cost, and we have seen our mediator - at the same cost - several times - all of which were at least 2-3 hours! Each time I've met with my attorney, or our mediator, it's been difficult for me to keep up to understand this completely foreign language while watching the $$$ signs multiplying in these meetings. Each time, I have walked out more confused and with more questions and feeling more overwhelmed than when I walked in, even after doing the research, talking to friends, and doing everything I know possible to be prepared for the meetings. Tammy is a "real person" who speaks my language, and has been able to patiently, clearly, explain the legal documents and procedures in a very chill, relaxed manner and environment. She runs the group from 6-7:30, but has never seemed to care if our group is still there much later, her only interest is that we understand and are empowered to face our next meetings, or court dates. She is extremely well versed on the financial aspects of the divorce process! I love that she encourages us to remember what's really important in the process, and what is not - fighting for every last dime is not going to make things easier, but understanding how to compromise and why it's important - for the sake of the kids, and/or the peace with the ex spouse and her/his family is what will matter most going forward. Her patience is incredible as I've observed how she meets each person who comes in where they are - no matter how emotionally charged - with the facts, the perspective, and the tools/verbiage, to get through the process as peacefully, and as inexpensively as possible. I hesitate to point out that she charges nothing for these meetings, because it's really difficult for me to wrap my brain around that in this arena where every moment of time is billable. She cares, she sincerely wants to help us out, and she wants as many people to know about what she can offer as possible. With that said, she and her husband, a family law attorney, do mediation for couples together, and of course, they welcome the business. I so wish I had known about them before we got into the process, and would have used them as a team to mediate for us because they have a very succinct, efficient process they use, and have found to be successful for their clients. Thank you Tammy - you really are a gem!

Tammy is absolutely amazing! She handled my case with urgency and accuracy even though my ex's attorney was a complete mess. I will be forever thankful for what she did for me. I recommend the Ferreira's as they are professionals but most of all friends. Thank you so much for all your help, Tammy and Thomas!

I want to thank Tammy for all the support she has given me in this time of confusion and pain. She has taken the time to answer all my questions and I don't feel like am another client. She has been my angel.

Be very cautious entering into a marriage settlement agreement with Tammy and Thomas Ferreira. Tammy trolls support groups for recently separated women and befriends them in order to drum up business for their divorce law office. She and Thomas seemed friendly, but they totally screwed me over and wrote the MSA to heavily favor my ex-wife. I found out later that Tammy was hanging out with my ex during our proceedings and even hooking my ex up with blind dates. I'm still battling in court to correct the injustices written into our contract by Thomas and Tammy Ferreira. Shady.

I can't say enough about Thomas & Tammy. Saying they went above and beyond would be an understand statement. When it comes to law and sensitive situations you want to deal with people that are going to make you feel like family and that's that you get here. How they make you feel like you're their only client during your time of crisis is truly a gift. They know exactly what do you for you when you can't think straight for yourself. They were very quick to get answer my questions and point me in the right direction. Thank you so very much!
