This is an family excellent place to visit. There is fun for the whole family. However, they don't take debit or credit cards, so you need you take  cash. Once you are done in the drive through with the animals, get ready for a eye popping walk around. With everything to see from lemurs to kangaroos! Don't forget the gift shop on the way out.

I came here with my daughters 1st grade class and we had a great time. The wagon ride through the ranch was not like I expected.  The animals are so used to humans so they will come right up and lick your hand to get the food. There were a ton of them too. I liked the setup for the giraffes, we were able to touch them unlike other places I've been to. It's a great way to spend a couple of hours!

Great family friendly environment with something for kids of all ages! We have three kids all varying in age and it is great knowing there is one place we can go where every kid will have something they enjoy.

For the younger ones it's petting and feeding the animals and during Easter, it's collecting eggs after they drop from a helicopter, petting bunnies and playing in a huge corn pit!

For the older kids they have a scavenger hunt that gives you free entrance at your next visit if you collect all the stickers at every station. So not only are they learning, but they are having fun and saving us money as well.

We love the various options of animals, the fun events they hold seasonally and the friendly staff. If you are looking for an amazing petting zoo on steroids with something for everyone, Lazy 5 Ranch is worth a visit.

Amazing experience!
Great for both kids and adults. I love that there was both a drive through option and a hay ride option. 
The Ranch is a two part zoo. One portion is walk through petting zoo, and the second is for much larger animals. The second portion can be driving through with your own car or the hay ride they offer.
Make sure you take cash! Cards are not accepted there.
Prepared food is not offered there, but they do have a large picnic area that you can eat the food that you bring.

I attended a field trip with my sons elementary school. My wife and two teenage daughters wanted to come also. We all had a great time feeding and petting all the animals!  Great place to visit for a inexpensive family trip!  Short drive from Greensboro. I would visit every year!
