The food was great, but the price is really high, and they refused to give me 3 different boxes for my patties even though I brought 3 dozens. For 90$ I should be able to separate the fish from the chicken patties. That was ridiculous.Food: 5/5
2 stars because the patties and everything else taste good. But 0 star for customer service. Haitian business must do better treating customers right, stop complaining and telling people to talk faster. It’s pointless to place your order before ordering because they won’t even get it ready.
Always bomb and wow ya'll put more meat in the patties so proud!Food: 5/5
I know the people that work there and the paté is so good
NEW COVID HOURS WEN -SAT: 8AM -4PM Absolutely love this place. I consider it the #1 Haitian bakery in that area; food is amazing and the customer service is pleasant. I'm sure many others agree with me. Only gave it 4 stars as sometimes they have long line that honestly can be solved by having more than just 1 person tending to the customers.
I would give them a BIG FAT ZERO out of 100 for customer service!!!! This was my esperience back in 2014: I walked in & witnessed appalling customer service to the lady ahead of me. Came my turn, I asked to buy 15 patties, & the old lady tells me I would have to wait 5 mins for my order to be placed. I didn't understand quite why since there was a tray-full of patties! So I settled for 10, then. As I realized there was CLEARLY enough to satisfy my order, I asked the lady why she was limiting my order. Her response was nothing short of shocking. She begrudgingly explained that she could only give me 10 because there were others in line waiting to buy as well. I asked where was the sign, if they had one, that said you needed to place a separate order ahead of time to satisfy an order bigger than 10 patties. Maybe this is how they conduct business back in Haiti and I mean no disrespect!!!, but down here if you're accepting my business, my hard-earned money, you would serve on a first-come first-served basis unless otherwise specified. In fact, a proper business etiquette is to supply the demand, but not restrict it to meet it. If you know you are so damm successful, and your demand is high enough, why don't you get with the program and make enough to meet your demand instead of turning away paying customers?!!!! The last paragraph still holds true sadly; they still struggle to meet their demand. I walked today and stood in line for 25 minutes to buy 15 patties. The silver lining: at least, they did not try to limit my order this time around, the line snaked and spilled outside! I would have given them -100 % for customer service. However I gave them one star for I must acknowledge and give them credit for their product, the patties taste GREAT, crunchy on the outside and soft enough on the inside, not mention warm piping hot since you have to wait for them to come out of the oven to get your order filled! EXTREMELY POOR BUSINESS MODEL & ETIQUETTE !!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! GREAT FOOD!!!
Just wish they didn't have an attitude makes it very intimidated. Especially if you're not haitian makes the experience bad Just wish the pate' has more meat.
Language barrier needs a little bit more work, otherwise the pastries are great. Parking: Easy to find. Traffic in the square can be bad depending on the time of your visit.
it's a clean and welcoming simple space. it contains the originality of Haitian food. you can eat with your family or invite friends.
i don't give much establishments 5 stars but here is why I will give LeFoyer 5 stars. It is not because I have literally been going there since I was roughly 4 years old probably sooner, or the fact that the pies ALL of them are delicious, or even the fact that they are the first Haitian bakery in Boston to the best of my knowledge. it is because they are always improving and this is from a customer perspective. Yes, from the outside, it looks pretty much exactly as it did when I was 4. It is a pretty simple layout. However, when you go inside, the line system has needed improving and it is clear that they responded to that demand by not only hiring additional staff, but creating a system within the line that makes things go more efficiently. In case you got this far in the review and you have never been there, sometimes the line can easily be out of the door. so you can imagine you need an efficient process. Bottom line is, they have loyal customers like me so you know they are doing something right. I wish them continued success! Haitian patties are better than Jamaican patties. I said what I said
