Unfortunately, these were the worst Haitian beef patties that I have ever had. The dough was so thick like empanadas and there was also a strange after taste that I could not stomach; I could not even finish eating it. On top of that I ordered 6 patties in total, 5 beef and 1 chicken 1 beef and 1 chicken were for someone else, I received 4 chicken patties and 2 beef patties which was very upsetting because I am not a fan of chicken at all. This left me with just 1 beef patty and I had to throw away the other 3 chicken ones my portion of the order because the person I ordered for did not like the patties either and did not want to eat them. In addition, for whatever reason the smell was also unsavory. I cannot explain the distinct smell but it was not pleasant. Perhaps, we got a bad batch because I could not believe how bad these tasted and smelled. On the plus side, the customer service was great! The woman at the front who prepared my order was very kind. I would give 5 stars for the customer service I had but definitely 1 star for the patties. Maybe next time I will try one of their other dishes and have better luck because according to the majority of other reviews, they have good food. **Side note attached picture: I did not receive the patty that way, I opened it up to make it easier to eat because the dough was that thick. What is shown in the picture is what I threw away in addition to what I said in my above review.**
I placed an order for white rice , legume and black beans sauce pois noir and also ordered a large griot with plantains. When I get home with the food everything was a disaster. They gave me white beans instead of black beans, and most of the griot was fat, despite I told them that I didn’t want any fat when I ordered the food. And the griot wasn’t cooked right because it was hard. I called them back to let them know that they gave me white beans instead of black beans, and the guy who answered the phone told me they didn’t have black beans; therefore, they give me white beans…..SMFH
The presentation of the food was beautiful and it tasted AMAZING!! Very picky with Haitian food , but this one was it ! Fried chicken, rice and beans with sauce !!
The venue is clean and spacious I thought. They have signs in place in compliance with the social distancing guidelines and a excellent customer service. In terms of taste, this is not the best Haitian restaurant, but they're sure to be one of the best value for your money. The plate was heavy and can surely feed to people. In terms of wait time i think it's best to call ahead for your order as you would for many Haitian restaurants. It's not fast food, even Fritay takes time to prepare. I thought they had my food in a timely manner regardless.
The food was good, there's room for improvements. The service how ever was disastrous. I called ,ordered the gave me a price and when I got there the price went up because the person didn't know the price and didn't bother to check. she was giving me attitude when I ask why she didn't check for the price like if you broke don't come to the restaurant type of attitude I also asked for the price of something else and without me saying to add it to my bill she just put it on but by the time I saw that I was already to exhausted and exacerbate to do something about it.
Great Customer Service, good food, and clean place. They packed the food very nicely. Keep it up Toutwel.

Goat and rice was great, they should have take out menus, good place for dining and mostly carry out, chef was really helpful, definitely gonna try more food

I found this place while driving in Boston lost. I was hungry I stop. They were so friendly, not rude like Las Vegas which by the way the food is nasty. I am a picky eater and must be healthy. I tried the beef stew they only had goat stew It was amazing. I didn't eat the meat but I love everything else. I also purchased sofritos from them not bad. Overall I would recommend this place.
