This campground is well maintained and very large. The tent sites are nice and roomy, and the log cabins are clean and cozy. The little convenience store/gift shop is somewhat pricey, but otherwise the staff are helpful, and the camp ground makes staying in Leavenworth enjoyable and fun. During my last time here, there were even wild turkeys walking around the empty tenth sites, which was cool.

We stayed in one of the bigger cabins and loved it! The cabin was warm and toasty when we got there. The unit was clean and well maintained. The Christmas lights on all of the cabins added to the special atmosphere of the town. I would recommend this to everyone. Also it is only a two minute drive to the downtown area restaurants, shops, and many wine tastings.

This KOA is minutes from Leavenworth town center where they have all the Christmas lights this time of year. And the price is much less than a room in town. Friendly people, very helpful.

My wife and I stayed here the week of September 4, 2017 and it was incredibly peaceful, despite the forest fire smoke from Montana. The staff was efficient and helpful, and the campground is clean and easy to access, with water and electrical hookups at most of the sites, and access to dump stations. The views of the mountains from this campground are stunning, and the area down by the river is a great place to pitch a chair and grab a book. Access to downtown Leavenworth is a pleasant, mile-long walk, or a shuttle that runs during the weekends. I definitely will stay here again when I am in town!

Stayed in a tent on the grass site pad for Oktoberfest. It had water and electric hookups but we didn't use either. Shared restrooms and showers were clean and well stocked and the site was prepared for the crowd coming in for Leavenworth's Oktoberfest. They had a shuttle to and from the event. Staff was friendly and prompt with checking us in. Site also had a $5+tax pancake breakfast.
