What a diamond in the rough. Was looking for a good deal on a weekend stay and was very impressed. The view from the room was spectacular even on a cloudy day in winter. Room was clean and obviously the place is well kept. We had little interaction with the staff as when we arrived, the office was closed and our keys were taped to the door of the office. It was centrally located to all of the places we were planning on going. Highly recommend!

Go all out and get a waterfront room; you'll love the view.  Nice, quiet, motel with free breakfast, but you have to walk up some very steep stairs; not exactly handicap friendly.  But still a nice place to stay a night or two.

Had to stay because of frozen pipes in the middle of very frigid weather. It was warm, convenient and very comfortable.  Even in Winter the views were beautiful. And, the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.

This is an above average motel for the price. To be fair the room is a bit dated but there is a large fridge and separate freezer and microwave. The TV is a newer model. The view is great. The staff that I have interacted with have been great.

Very nice!  We stayed here 3 nights in September....came to Maine to celebrate our 34th anniversary.  We booked a room without a view but they kindly upgraded us to a balcony room overlooking the bay AND had an anniversary card along with a nice bottle of wine waiting for us in our room!  We were in room 105 which had been completely renovated, bed was comfortable and towels soft.  Breakfast was very nice, fruit...waffles...yogurt...juice...cereal...danishes...toast...bagels....coffee and tea.  Great location for day trips to towns nearby.  We would highly recommend and stay here again!
