Amazing. This was my first visit here and I am thoroughly impressed. The rooms were spacious and meticulously clean. The view was breathtaking. The pool was wonderful. They had a game room for kids and free hot chocolate. The architectural features of the buildings fit right in with the New England decor. I really loved the individual touch by having a journal in each room in which visitors could write their thoughts, impressions and feelings. There aren't enough good things I can say about this resort. My husband and I came here for a weekend getaway and have been returning every year since. We even got married here and that was an amazing experience itself. The rooms are luxurious, the breakwater is breathtaking, and the restaurant is mouth-watering. The staff is always friendly and willing to accommodate your needs. I highly recommend the Samoset to anyone and everyone. The best prices are in the off-season, but there's more to do in the summer (outdoor pool, golf, etc). Come experience the relaxation for yourself.

We are timeshare owners and love it here. We deliberately chose week 50 because we enjoy coming right before Christmas and seeing all the awesome decorations around town and benefit from all the unique shops as gift ideas. Samoset is literally away from it all but you are 5 minutes from Rockland which has the best breakfast around at the Brass Compass and about a 10 minute drive to Camden which has wonderful shops and rustic views as well. We are in a one bedroom unit with two balconies facing the water, also a 3/4 kitchen with everything except a conventional oven. The bathroom features great water pressure and a heat lamp that makes it cozy, too. Not a huge unit but it has everything you need. There is also a hotel here in the main building but the timeshare condos are set apart from that. If you like the idea of a timeshare and can travel off season, you can buy in for as low as $400 with annual maintenance fees of about the same cost. We get 7 days and nights in a gorgeous ocean front setting for about $55 a night so it works for us. If you love being on the shore, near quaint New England towns and enjoy some peaceful surroundings, you really can't go wrong.

Samoset Golf Course is beautiful. Incredible setting for Maine golf - right on the water. The conditions were pretty good - fairways had some rough spots, but greens were in good shape, but soft. I'll definitely be headed back to Samoset for many summers to come.

A beautiful resort on the coast of Rockport! The Samoset has all of the amenities that you wish for when going to a resort. A glorious golf course with supreme views and always in tip top shape! The Samoset has several pools, both indoor and outdoor as well as a health & fitness center that the public can use for a fee. The Italian restaurant is excellent and delicious! The rooms are spacious and comfortable as well as accommodating to you and your family's needs. There is a cute little gift shop as well. You can't go wrong with time well spent at the Samoset! ♡
