not so bad, had their special filled lobster..large... was too too too oily that i couldn't eat it.. waitress didn't care less.. fish chowder soup was amazing...ended up with almost 90$ including the tip yes i may go back...for a plain lobster maybe! but not anytime soon

This place was actually not the original place I was going to eat at but we were walking in the snow and ended up here. To our delight this place was great! I had the best waiter whose name is Julio. I was looking for a good steak and there were not much choices but He turned me on to a steak that wasn't on the menu that was delicious. Manager came around and checked on us which I found refreshing. Love this place. My next visit to Boston will definitely include this place. The only negative is that it gets pretty loud in there. Came here in the middle of the afternoon when it was nearly empty and sat at the bar to try their clam chowder, lobster bisque, and Buffalo popcorn shrimp. All were excellent, with generous chunks of fresh clams, lobster, and shrimp, respectively. Wine list was surprisingly extensive, and their cocktails were also very good. Service was just fine, though not especially attentive. Still, it's a fantastic place for delicious seafood. Would recommend!

Dinner with my family before theater. Very attentive service, and our meals were excellent. My mother-in-law had mussels au gratin, which were excellent. The Legal formula is tasty and consistent.

Well I certainly wouldn't eat here again, and would never refer my friends here either, quite the opposite. Below average service. Perhaps having a bad day? Medicare soup. A steak way over cooked. Room temperature broccoli, shrimp, and scallops as if it had been sitting on a counter for 20 minutes before being brought to my table. Empty drink sitting on the table waiting on my server to stop by again and grab me another one. And I would have sent my food back if he had ever come back to ask how it was. Very disappointing experience, especially for the price tag. Would have rather eaten Mcdonalds to be honest.
